Just curiuos what some fave restaurants are (both CS and TS) if you are not on the dining plan. IE Where can you get really good food for a good value and good selection, etc. (We'll have 2 toddlers along with us....2 1/2 and 4 yrs). THANKS!!!
for a good value i alway like the plaza at disney. if you are looking for standard fare at a low price you can't go wrong here. Grab a the buffet at the crystal palace in the morning also. You can get great foods and fill up enough so that you wont have to worry about lunch that day!! that will save you about $25 to $30.
For counter service, we like Cosmic Rays at the the MK and Sunshine Seasons at EC - lots of choices and large portions that you should be able to share with your kids. My kids have always enjoyed going to Whispering Canyon Cafe and the Sci Fi at HS (although the food isn't the greatest here).
The character buffets are good - your toddler will be free but you will have to pay the child rate for your preschooler and they are rather expensive for adults for what you get.
Boma! Don't let the "African food" intimidate you about the kids. My picky eater still found stuff to eat there and he was happy. There's plain food for kids and prime rib, soups and different foods for adults to try (I feel its a mix of mediteranean and indian sort of). Plus it's a buffet and children under 3 are free so you save right there! The dessert table is to die for! Oh I LOVE the zebra domes can't wait!
