Fave HGTV shows?

I love House Hunters, and Property Virgins... My first Place.

I really like Sandra (Rigamoto sp) from Property Virgins... I also like the girl with long hair on, I think it's "Designed to Sell"..

I do not like the girl from "My house is worth what"....

I just love HGTV in general..
Curb Appeal too....

I really miss Designing for the Sexes. I loved that show and the original host. They tried to keep the show going without him and it just didn't work. I think he was too well liked.

My favorite show is HouseHunters. Of the newer shows, I like "for Rent" and I think it's called "income properties" where the good looking young man fixes up rental units in people's basements.

Yeah, for Rent is a fun show....

HouseHunters is probably my favorite, but Property Virgins is a close 2nd..

I love to watch HGTV and get lot's of ideas there. I enjoy many of the show's but I do wish (sorry if this sounds rude) that some of the show hosts would act real and tone down the cutesy thing.
I don't know anyone in real life that wears 4 inch heels when painting, not to mention the designer outfits! And yes, I do love fashion, it's just they often dress so ridiculous for the job they're supposedly doing. The hip slang also drives me crazy...
That being said (sorry to complain op!) I really do love it. I also meant to reply to your remodeling thread, that's a great idea!

I like watching almost anything on HGTV, but I can't keep the names of any of them straight. There actually really only seem to be 3 shows to me :

1) "Go Look at 3 Houses and Pick One to Buy"
2) "Come Tell Me What's Wrong with My House and Why It's Not Selling"
3) "Come Redecorate My Hideous Room"

Oh yeah, and "Curb Appeal". That's the one show that I can keep straight. But I have no idea who the host/hostess is.

My kids love all the Designed to Sell shows, but especially the ones with Clive and Lisa.

We can (and do!) watch HGTV all day long at our house.

I don't know the host of Curb Appeal either, but I like that show. I like that David Bromstead from Color Splash too... he's out there but it always ends up coming together great!

My mom loves Candace Olson...I think she's just ok. I prefer Vern Yip on Deserving Design..

And...anytime I'm off work, HGTV is on all day too

I just recently started watching HGTV and I am hooked!!

My favorite shows are House Hunters, House Hunters International, & For Rent, but really I could have any HGTV show on in the background while I do some cleaning or work & I'm happy.

Is For Rent a relatively new show? I Tivo all of my 3 favorite shows & I noticed that there are not alot of For Rent re-runs on to catch past shows.

I love all the shows on this channel!! However, one of my faves is on DIY...."Renovation Realities". The comments are so funny!!! Plus, some of the people on their make me feel like an AMAZING home repair person (which is about like saying I'm Angelina Jolie's identical twin)

i really like HGTV to,. but i do miss some of the older ones with that Michael ??, and Trading Spaces , and i like Genevieve G. to. i get a kick out of the ones that say, How do i decorate such a BIG HOUSE??? . i have a basic house , so no problem. ha.

I like Property Virgins with Sandra - she's a great host. She's not your typical youngish twiggy blonde who gets these hostess jobs based strictly on appearance. Sandra knows what she's talking about and makes a great show. She tells it like it is! I also like House Hunters.

We always laugh when watching both shows, since they always seem to have couples who (even on a small budget) put their noses in the air and declare that any house "must have granite countertops and stainless steel appliances" and anything else is too inferior to even step into. Yep - any house without those things is simply uninhabitable and should be imploded. Some people's expectations have no corelation to their budget it seems! Usually as they start seeing homes in their budget, their expectations get more realistic.

We also laugh at some of the decoration shows, which always seem to display a certain upscale modern style, even if it is totally impractical for the family (i.e. kids will knock all the expensive vases over).

We enjoy the shows. I could watch the channel all day, and I don't even own a home or a garden!

I love watching House Hunters International. It's really interresting to see what houses look like in other countries. I saw one that had apartments in Paris, and boy, those places are tiny, with really small, cramped kitchens. It's very interresting and fun to watch.

I love HGTV, but I think we have different shows in Canada. Some are the same like House Hunters, Designed to Sell etc, some of the other shows mentioned I've never heard of. Do you have Design Inc, or Location, Location, Location, which is actually a British show, or Sarah's House in the US?

I have either HGTV or Food Network on most of the time.

We do have Sarah's House but it's on DIY, another place to find a lot of great shows. On HGTV, I like House Hunters, House Hunters International and my fave is Property Virgins because I absolutely love the host.
