fave characters in the parks?

Jess when she tried to kiss my 14 year old son
it was priceless

and another time Goofy joined is in the line to see winnie the pooh and friends
that was so funny :rotfl2:

oh we have so many wonderfull tales about them all

worst time was when we were waiting to see Donald in AK
we were next in line and it was about to rain and this MAN in front of us decided that he had to get a photo with each of is 5 children alone with Donald (which was Ok )
but then each child have 2-3 books that had to be signed , even the CM was getting anger at this , but the MAN did not care
needless to say it started to rain just as he finished so Donald had to make a run for it
so my poor little son didn't get a photo with donald

some people can get so carried away some time
They forget other people are there too

What a great thread! My absolute fave is the Mouse himself, but we all love Chip and Dale...and Tigger.

One of my favourite memories is my DD marking Pinocchio's white glove with her blue pen. He got very upset ;) and wrote on her hand to pay her back! :rotfl:

Although not strictly a "character", my vote goes to the mime artist at Sea World. He's just brilliant.

On one visit to WDW I was told that you sometimes don't see Donald or Daisy because they can't find someone small enough to fit into the costume. Not sure how true this is but I know that they are quite hard to find.

Thats funny! :rotfl: When we were last at cafe mickey we noticed minnie had pen all over her face! :rotfl: :rotfl:

On our trip to WDW at Xmas 2004 we met many many characters but DH's favourite moment was when the kids were meeting Baloo and King Louie, the pen decided to run run out and he was trying to get my attention to tell me it had run out but I wasn't looking at him so he whacked the pen a few times on my cap as if to say "hello, anybody in there", my DH laughed his proverbials off and then Baloo went over to the queue of people and pinched one of their pens.

When we saw The Genie with Aladdin he kept pulling my DD's hat down over her eyes, it was like panto, pulling it up, pulling it down, it was so funny.

One of my most treasured memories was when we went to see the princesses and Aurora misheard what my 4.5 year old DS said, she said "did you say I look beautiful", he was so dumbstruck that he just nodded his head so she bent down and gave him a kiss on his cheek leaving a lipstick mark and from then on he was stunned. I loved it to the point of it bringing a tear to my eye.

But my absolute favourite in terms of personal experience in the parks was Minnie, she played up to the camera so much that we have enlarged the photo we got with her and put it pride of place in the lounge.

My worst was actually Mickey. My 4.5 year old DS was wearing a fleece that had a Mickey Mouse picture on and when my DS was getting excited and trying to show him he wasn't enthused at all and that actually upset me more than anything else that happened on the trip.

My absolute favourite character, in tems of just that, is Tinker Bell and Minnie. DH doesn't really have one, DD is Belle and DS is Mickey and Buzz.

My sister and I love the mime!! :teeth: We always have to get to the show really early, and we crack up every time! :rotfl:

I'm another Mickey fan, it always makes me feel like I've really arrived at Disney when I get a hug off Mickey, no one else will do!

And Friar Tuck also! He started off as a running joke, because we'd always see him standing by himself, because no one knew who he was, but wherever we went, he'd be out there. Now no trip is complete without a photo of me and Friar Tuck! :teeth:

Has anybody actually seen Tinkerbelle in the park? I've only seen her during the fireworks on the zip line. Did you know that it's normally a man that does that :rotfl2:

*raises hand* I'll do it! I'll do it!!

Wendy on the family magic tour was just wonderful with the kids, holding hands with them while walking through the MK. Baloo at AK was a lot of fun too, hiding my DS autograph book and tickling. As you can see in my sig, Chip and Dlae are good at tickling too :teeth:
