I am so excited-my favorite place to eat is in WDW is the 50s Prime Time Cafe-i know its not a 5 star signature restaurant-but the food is consistantly good, and the atmosphere and staff are always great when we go. I love the theme and the CM interaction. The kids have a great time too-always a plus.
We weren't going to eat there for our upcoming trip my DH suggested trying restaurants we've never eaten at, I agreed because afterall-I'm the disney fanatic and he's just happy to be on vacation-but he does gripe "Disney again" once in a while-he gets the look.
So we booked BOMA-we're staying at the AKL-i've heard great things about it here so we booked it like 2 months ago - well after glancing through the menu last night, while we were discussing our trip, Mr. Adventuous says "ummm-yea I don't think we're gonna enjoy this-especially you-a picky eater, I dont see much the kids will like either" so I said well we're trying "new places"...now I got the look....so he asks me, the family planner, "what park we going to that day?", I reply, hastily, like I dont have our travel plans etched into my brain..ummm Hollywood Studios...so he said "oh-then lets eat at the Prime Time-we all like the food there" woohoo-lemme grab that phone before he suggests something else-and hopefully they'll have a table for 6-woohoo they do-4:50-we're booked.
So I got to thinking-this will be our 6th trip-6th time in the prime time and I'll probably order the pot roast-again....with all the restaurants to choose from-we always pick this one its a must for every trip-we really like it-does anyone else have a restaurant-REGARDLESS of the review or food star level, and opinions of others that you must do when you go to Disney?? I'd love to hear..especially since we are trying "new" places to eat...popcorn::

Absolute Favorite - Victoria & Albert's no question.

Reasonable Favorite - Jiko

I think Victoria and Albert's don't allow children anymore but it may be a good place for a romantic dinner for you and DH. ;)

My family and I just had our first visit to WDW and we ate at the Coral Reef in Epcot. That was my favorite restaurant. It's really cool to watch the fish swimming by as you eat and my DDs loved it. The food was fantastic! DH and I had the mahi mahi on cashew rice with pineapple chutney. For dessert I had the key lime tart and DH had the Jack and Bailey's chocolate mousse. Both were out of this world deliciious! DDs had grilled chicken. The oldest had mashed potatoes with her chicken and the youngest had FF. I tasted YDDs chicken and it was very good too.

The Biergarten in Germany had pretty good food. To me the best part was the dance floor and watching the kids up there dancing to the polka band!

We also went to 50's Prime Time. I can understand why you like it!

I am going to give you two since my DH and I differ on this!

My Fav: Marrakesh....I love walking to the back of Morocco and feeling totally immersed in the country. The food is great and so are the half carafes!

DH Fav: Brown Derby....my #3 pick by the way.....it has a wonderful atmosphere and the food is great!!!!

All Disney Dining is Good to me because it is DISNEY!!!!!

For our last 8 trips, we have done BOMA on arrival night and V&A on our last night. The other one we seem to do every trip is Coral Reef for lunch.
