Fav building at SSR

Love Grandstand and the Paddocks sections. We usually have a GV when there and have never been disappointed with the view or feel of the area!

Have a great trip!

thanks everyone just called MS and changed from Springs to Grandstand 8000 buildings, worried about the Springs and buses for the first week in April.

We stayed on the DTD side of building 2501-2836 in Congress Park and really liked it. It was within walking distance to DTD & the main pool/check-in area and it was very quiet. We stayed on the bus stop side of 6501-6836 of The Paddock and we hated it because late into the night and starting in the early morning, you could hear buses braking & accelerating around the Congress Park bus stop.

We have stayed in CP twice - once with a wonderul DTD view and another with a view of the DVC center (not so magical). Have also stayed in the Carousel and had a beautiful view of the fountain and was quite close to the paddock pool. On our last trip there I requested Grandstand and we loved it! My girls loved the pool there and it is so close to the main pool and artist palette. Our view from the room was of the parking lot, but the location was great and made up for that.

Congress Park, The Springs or Grandstand (for me, in that order). With the new pool opening up early summer, the Paddock will be a nice area, too. No matter where you stay at SSR (unless you're at the Springs), you have a walk to the main pool and "Carriage House" where check-in and restaurants are.

Here are a couple of pics from our Congress Park stay. I loved the pool there. Just beautiful there, and a great view of DTD! :cloud9:

We've stayed at SSR three times: Once in the Springs/Congress Park areas (split stay) and twice in the Grandstand area.

Grandstand building 8101 - 8436 is also our favorite. We lucked out and got a room in that building both times we stayed in the Grandstand area. We love that it's close to the bus stop and quiet pool, but it's also a quick walk over to the Carriage House.
