Father's Day on the Magic?

Hello! I was wondering, have any of you ever been on the Magic on Father's day and if so did they do anything special? We are sailing on the West Coast next June and chose the sailing so that my husband would sit back and cruise all day on Father's Day.

We actually just spent this Father's day on the Magic. If I remember correctly they slipped a little card under the door recognizing Father's day. They also had the ships photographer set up with a special backdrop that said something about father's day. We had brunch that day at Palo, which was a nice way to spend father's day although unfortunately he didn't get to eat with the kids.

The only thing I noticed was the small card under the door as well. It was a great time to book the Palo Brunch as there were relatively few people there.

Just a card, huh? Well I thank you for responding and Brunch at Palo sounds great! I will keep that in mind. I think I read that on the Wonder they had a big cake in one of the diningrooms that said Happy Father's Day. In Disneyland they gave all the Mothers carnations. I think being on the Magic on Father's day will make the whole day more special! Would be cool if they gave out a pin. Thanks again!

Well, there WAS the Finding Nemo Father's Day 2004 pin that I was given at Mickey's Treasures. The CM took my KTTW card and swiped it at her cash register, but i'm sure the $6.50 charge that appeared was just an oversight......

We were on the Wonder this past Fathers Day (june 20th) and I had call DCL ahead of time to see if they had something special planned or if I should plan something on my own. The CM reassured me they had something "special and magical" for all the fathers so I went with that. What a big diappointment!! We got a card placed under the phone in our cabin that gave the history of Fathers Day and at dinner in Parrot Cay they displayed a cake that said "Happy Father's Day" but they didn't even cut and serve the cake. There was no mention or congratulations made during any of the announcements or before the shows, etc.

I felt so bad that I hadn't done something special for my DH and all of our DD's were at home and unable to wish him a Happy Fathers Day. If I had it to do over, I would have ordered a special gift basket for DH.
