Father's Day in Disney -almost!

Well it just occurred to me that Father's Day this year will be on our flying home day from 8 nights at Disney. I would love to do something neat for my husband the night before since, chances are, we will all be too "pooped" when we get home to do anything. Any ideas for somethig sweet that our girls (5 and 8) could do for or with Daddy at Disney.

Guess it depends on your budget. Are you specifically looking for something to do at night, or anything during the day before you leave. Are you looking for a dining experience or an activity related experience. Maybe a special picture together with his favorite character, a special meal, is he a sports nut, then something like espn etc. How about renting a pontoon boat and doing a picnic while boating on bay lake while looking at the castle etc. you could pick up sanwhiches at captain cooks or any of the mk resort fast food places. A fishing trip, fun but pricey. The options are endless for sure when you are in the magic!! I am sure if you were a little more specific lots of disers would offer you lots of great ideas.

I am mostly looking for something small that he would not be expecting. Nothing real expensive. It is more a gesture from the girls. A surprise at dinner or in the room? A special little place they could take him? Nothing too grand since we are in the middle of the grandest place on earth! Just a little something extra. Hope that helps!

How 'bout an excursion on the Breathless (speedboat)? That's what our dad is getting. Excursions run from 2:30-5:30, leave from the Yacht and Beach Club dock, and cost about $80 for 30 minutes. (Book by calling 407-wdw-play)
