I thought it was great. My only worry is that since it is animated that kids will want to watch and it was definitely not geared towards kids. Some of the dialogue and innuendos surprised me a bit.

I thought it was hilarious. The Sigfried and Roy portion had me ROTFLMAO. It was said last night it take 9 months to finish one episode, so I have to imagine this all started prior to the tiger attack on Roy Horn.

It's so good to hear John Goodman again - he is one of my favorites. I think he is way too underrated now a days.

Any way - just wondered what other thought about it.

Dang! :( I forgot that was on. :( Glad to hear it was good. Thanks for the warning about the adult content, my kids were interested as well.

I read in our local paper that that IS the case.

I'm so mad I forgot to watch this! RRRGGG!!! I'm hoping they replay it.

DW and I watched it. It was okay. I don't think I'll watch it again. I've got better things to do with my time, like hang out here at DIS :D

Overall, I think it was cute but I don't think it will succeed as a series.

i saw it...i laughed a few times..but didnt think it was hilariously funny or anything...its one of those shows that ill watch again if its on..but im not gonna plan to :)

Aren't they replaying it on Sunday night at 8 PM?? Please correct me if I'm wrong - thought I read this in yesterday's paper.

It wasn't bad but not one of my favorites. My teen DS (16.5) was alternately laughing and embarassed - an awful lot of innuendo and sexual references.

I think it's one of those shows that I would watch if I was channel surfing and happened across it -- but wouldn't make a point of trying to remember to watch each week.

I found the program amusing, but not on my "must see TV" list of programs. I think that the scene with the kitty telling John Goodman's character something along the lines of "that's the best you're going to get" was a bit much.

I watched it..it was Ok, but nothing I'd go out of my way to watch.

as for the adult content,,every commercial I've seen for it has clearly stated that it's for Adults...

I was hoping for much better. If the rest of the shows are going to be filled with leg humping humor then I'll probably skip them.

There were a few chuckles particularly the Sigfried and Roy characters but I was disappointed overall. For a first show I would have thought they could come up with a more interesting story line.......or something. LOL

Watched it...
AFTER the kids were in bed.

::yes:: Definately for grown ups (though not as bad as "Fritz the Cat") it is more for an adult audience.

I laughed. Maybe because I know someone like the girl panda character. Being animated, it still has a bit of "cute" factor in there, don't know if it will last. However, Simpsons is animated and has been on since 1989 - so you never know.

What does Siegfried & Roy think of it?

I saw it. It was good, nothing that I'd really go out of my way for. We were watching something else and when a commercial came on we flipped thru the stations and found this show on. I chuckled a couple times. It was better than I thought it would be. When we first saw the commercials, I just rolled my eyes. But I'd watch it the next time it comes on.

I had never heard of the show, and just happened upon it (thinking Scrubs might be on -- which I usually forget about too).

It's a very funny show. It probably won't make it, though. Too edgy (and potentially controversial). America loves reality television right now, and the networks always play to that lowest common denominator (unfortunately).

All of the commericals did defintiely warn of adult content - but I have to say that I even thought it was pushing the envelope a bit for NBC. I agree with most others here that it's not likely to survive the season if it's strictly sexual humor. I will plan to watch again but agree it hasn't made my "must see" list either.

I missed the beginning (hubby called!) so the ending didn't make enough sense to me. And I missed the S&R bits, which I had heard were the funniest! I'm going to give it another shot or two, but I'm not hoping for much.

Poot, I missed it too. I just checked NBC out and it will be on again Thursday at 9:30pm. I'll have to check it out then ::yes::

We thought it was really funny except my 13yo was watching it and it surprised me it was THAT adult. But I did go into a fit of giggles a few times.
