Fate in on my side

We are leaving for DL in 20 days and when I talked to Disney Vacation they said I should receive my package (passes etc., ) on Monday Oct 30, so I had planned to go into the city shopping today. Well one child is home sick with the flu, shopping was cancelled and the door bell rang about 20 minutes ago. It was the nice lady from Federal Express bringing me our Disney Vacation Package! Talk about fate! I can't even begin to explain the excitement that is going on in my head. Kids don't know about the trip so I can't tell the one that is home what was in the package. My insides are jumping for joy! Why couldn't it be Nov 16th already?!

I know! My DH and I are going November 14th and I've started a countdown on the refridgerator. Only 19 more sleeps to go!!!!!!!!!! I hope we have small crowds when we're there.

I wish my parents surprised me with a Disney trip when I was kid. They're sure to have a good time. I had a friend who wanted to surprise her kids and she made the kids a puzzle and on the way to the airport they tried to solve the puzzle. The puzzle read "we're going to DISNEYLAND!" I guess they were so excited they screamed the rest of the way to the airport.

what the, our hotel is cancelled? They helped us book another room at Disneyland Hotel? COOOOOL!
