I was when he had to hoist him up on the bed though. That's a huge cat! He feeds him chicken hearts and pork everyday though so I guess it's to be expected

I'm sorry, but IMO, that's cruelty to animals. That cat needs to go on a serious diet.

Charade, I agree. I guess I was just surprised to see how big that cat got. That's crazy! And he definitely didn't get that huge eating cat food. I had a friend in high school that had a HUGE cat, I mean really big boy. Finally I found out that he wasn't even eating cat food, he was being fed human food every single day. And lots of it. And they were surprised when he got to the point where he could barely walk

I was laughing at the video a bit, but really, why would anyone let a cat get that big? It's waist is as big as my husbands. Poor kitty's probably ready to keel over at any time.

Poor kitty! He can't hardly move. My parents cat is close to 20lbs but he has to be kept big. He is on a special diet to maintain him. (Kitty food from the vet) He had an operation that basically changed him from a male to a female for urinating. He has now outlived the prediction by almost 7 years. He is 12 and shouldn't have lived past 5.

Not that long ago, I saw a video of a morbidly obese labrador retriever. When DH first showed me the video, I thought it was a pot bellied pig. The owners had to go to court, and ended up losing the dog for abuse. I looked, but I can't find the video.
