I am familiar w/the fastpass rules at WDW where you can't get another fastpass til you either use the one you have or it's past the time slot for the one you have.
Is that the same at DL or can you get as many fastpasses as you want?

On your FP, there will be a time at the bottom that states when you can pick up your next FP. You cannot get a new one until that time. Whether you have or have not used your previously collected FPs is irrelevant.
This applies only for FP machines that are "connected." DL and DCA are not connected to each other so you can have a FP for an attraction in each Park during the same window. Also, Roger Rabbit is not connected with the other machines in DL.

Uhhhh, that is not the rule at DLR or WDW. It has nothing to do with when you use your current FPs. Disney does not track usage. It only tracks the last time you obtained a FP. And Disney Dreams discussed that. For more info see:
