FastPasses- Please explain how they work

So- if I get a fast pass for say...Space Mountain- and my return time is in two hours. During that wait- can I go stock up on other fast pass rides? Or do I have to wait until I ride SM to get in line for another fast pass? Confused.

no you can't stock up. you can only ride/get another fastpass within your return window. that's why it's important to watch the return times. if you get a return time that is 3hrs away, you can't ride or get any other fp's on that ticket until the return time.

Um, actually that's not true.

Say you get a Fastpass for Space Mountain that has a return time starting at 2pm, and right now, it's 11am. You can actually get another Fastpass for another ride at 1pm, 2 hours after you get your first Fastpass (it'll say that right on the Fastpass). You can also use your Fastpass AFTER your return window, just not before (I sometimes 'collect' them to use in the evening, enjoying the shows and sights during the day). And if your Fastpass return time is within the 2 hours, you can get another Fastpass right after.

The Fastpass itself will tell you the exact time you can get another one - how handy is that?

When you go to get a fastpass, there will be a clock telling you what time you can return. It will be a one hour window. Depends on when you get your passes as to when you will be able to return. During that time you are free to roam around the park and do other things. You will not be able to get another fast pass for 2 hours after the first one. After 2 hours, then you can go get another one.
