I know only FL is only open during EE. Can you get a fastpass for Nemo during EE or do I have to wait until EE is over and the park is open to get my fastpass?

there are also a lot more areas than just FL open at EE as well....

if you don't want to wait in line, go in the exit and ask to see the observation platform. you get the video and sound of the ride, but not the actual experience of riding in the sub.... it is actually pretty good, not the same, but your also not camped in line for a couple of hours either...

You can ride Nemo during EE as well as going to FL.

Do you recommend going straight to Nemo as soon as EE starts and then to FL?

We just got back from 5 days in DL and on 2 days we got to the park before park opening, waited for the rope drop, went over to Nemo, got to the ride by 12 minutes after opening both days and the wait was 60 minutes!! This thing is insane!

My advice is to get there about 15-20 minutes before EE to be at the front of the pack, then literally run to Nemo. When we did this (well, power-walked as I had a stroller) we got on in about 15-20 minutes, as opposed to the previous day when I walked to Nemo at EE rope drop at a normal pace and waited 40 minutes.

That's what we ended up doing. My mother was in a scooter and she was offered the observation room as an option instead of transferring and walking into the sub. We had the room to ourselves so it was very nice. I would have liked to ride in the sub, but the lines were so long when we were there that it just didn't work out.

You know that is a good idea. Don't plan on it and if it works out fine if not fine we will go with the flow so no one is disappointed!
