I now understand how fastpasses work (thanks to this site), but I was wondering how it is used for live entertainment. For example, at Disney-MGM Studios, you can get fastpasses for Indiana Jones and Millionaire. Can all of the seats available for a certain time be given out through the fastpass system or only a certain %? I was wondering if you wanted to see a show a particular time, could it get "sold out" through the fastpass system? Can you still just wait for the show rather than get a fastpass? Do fastpass holders get priority seating?

Thank you for any help you can give me!

We did Fastpasses for several shows at MGM. Millionaire, Mermaid, and Muppetvision are the ones that come to mind. They have two lines one for Fastpass and one for non-Fastpass, kind of like other Fastpass rides. They let all the people in the Fastpass line in first, and then the other line goes in. Judging by the number of people in the non-Fastpass line, it looks like they only give a percentage of entire audience Fastpasses. Sorry I can't give you more exact figures.

well, I don't know if this is entirely true, but it sounds right to me....

there are 648 seats in Millionaire, they give out 500 fastpasses....

that's what a CM told me

It is divided but there is always some room to play. ie Fastpass people don't make it back in time (learn from me...there is no play in the fastpass time. We were 3 minutes late from the "window" and although they had not let in the standby would not let us in. Asked for a manager, told next show, sorry)

Enjoy
Sandy
