Fastpasses during MM

We will have 2 MM during our upcoming trip.

When we get in at 7:00 are the fastpass machines up and running or do they only come on at 8:00?

As far as I know, they come on at 8. They were not on when we did our MM in March.

FP machines are turned on at official park opening. The exception to this rule is that Soarin's FP machine is turned on at 9:30, when DCA early opens to let guests shop and ride Soarin.

They only come on after the maingates open for regular admission. We just do Fantasyland and SM FP then Adventureland after they open.

great info !! I will do fantasyland first thing, then head down get a fast pass to space, and do space mountain, ride buzz then then send daughter to get indiana jones fast pass, head over to new orleans square, ride those rides until we have an opening to get another fast pass, get splash mountain passes, etc.
