I would like to have more info about fastpass,
Thanks a lot,
Catouc

Fastpass is for all guests at no extra charge. Using it is like making a reservation or appointment.

You insert your park ticket into a machine* near the ride and out comes a slip of paper with a time to come back to ride with little or no additional wait. That come-back time is posted above the machines so you know in advance when it is.

With that slip of paper you can go elsewhere and do other things or wait in line for a different ride.

You can get another fast pass for the same ride or a different ride two hours later, less if the park is not so busy or if the come back time is sooner (a few minutes after the come back time).

*about the shape and size of a long steamer trunk or musical instrument case, shoulder height standing on end.

Don't forget to get back your park ticket, or all of them if you went to get fast passes for the whole family.

are there unlimited fast passes or only a certain number for the whole day?? :rolleyes1

They only give out a certain number of fastpasses per hour and, therefore, only a certain amount of fastpasses per day. I have witnessed them closing down the fastpass machines to TestTrack on our last trip around 3:00pm because they had already given out all of the passes for the day....but we were there during off season so the park was closing at 7:00pm that night (that's why they ran out so early in the day).

Just to add to that... while there is a limit to the total number of Fastpasses at each ride, they do NOT say that you personally can only use Fastpass x-number of times per day. If your timing works out you can Fastpass on every single ride that participates in the program (and more than once, if you choose), as long as other guests haven't grabbed them all up.

Fastpasses are great, but you can only have i think its one at a time, so get a fast pass first before going on a ride, go on other rides intill your time slot opens up, then go and get one for another ride, then go back to the ride you have a fast pass for, this means you can have 2 at a time! clever huh?

Does anyone have a list of all the Fast Pass attractions? I am making a cheat sheet for my first trip and want to mark those items that are a not to be missed for us as FP rides as applicable.

Thanks

I don't have a list of the fastpass attractions..But it is a great service. We just got back and definatly needed it. If you buy a disney guide book..like the Birnbaums book it lists the fast pass attractions..We fastpassed the Tower of Terror..waited in line for the Aerosmith roller coaster right next to it..when we got out of the roller coaster it was our time for the pass and walked right on the tower or terror.
We also went early in the am to epcot to fastpass soarin..we put our card in at 9:30 and got a 12:45 fastpass..they did stop the fastpass in the afternoon because it was completly booked..so for the big rides such as these definatly fast pass..can do it for the shows as well.

It has taken us a couple of trips to get the hang of fastpasses but they really are a invalueble tool if used well. True you can only have one at a time except at EPCOT when the waite for fastpass if a long time, they will have printed on your current fastpass when you can get another. It seems to me that it was about 30mins befor your current pass was up. We always head to TMRR as soon as the park opens and fastpass it then head to SM ride it and then take train to GBS and train back to TMRR by then it's about time for the fastpass. Sometimes we can just go straight from SM to TMRR. We just keep this up everywhere we go. Fastpass for Soaren is a must! Have fun Good Luck! :earsboy:

Sounds obvious, but make sure you grab your ticket too after you grab the fastpass!

This is one of the best ideas Disney has ever come up with. We would just shake our heads as we walked pass 200-300 with a wait time of 120 minutes at Soarin'. I hope Disney leaves this process alone. With Early Entry and FP, we rode all three "mountains", JC, PoC, HM, Treehouse, Philharmagic, and Buzz.
