Okay, we have 16 days to WDW! :cool1: I have read the books, read the boards and my brain is mush. :rotfl2:

I have a question about fastpass. If we get one fastpass, we CANNOT get another until we use the first? Correct?

Thanks,

Kris

The fastpass will have a time printed on it for when you can get another one. Normally it's five minutes after the start of your return time for the first pass, but not always. I would just use the time printed on the pass as my guide.

No, the general guideline is 5-10 minutes after the return time of your current fastpass or 2 hours-whichever comes first.

You should alwasy try to have two fastpasses in hand when you are ready to use one. that is, if your fastpass returen time is 1-2, and you can get another fastpass at say 1:10, get the second one before using up the first one.

Thanks for the tip :goodvibes:

Because you can't stockpile Fastpasses, always LOOK for the return time for Fastpass before you issue your Fastpasses.

I like to think of the Fastpass system as an elaborate leap frog. So, you Fastpass one ride, and wait in line for another. Once you're thru the ride you were in line for, check the watch and see if you're in within the Fastpass return time so that you can grab up your next ride's Fastpass before using the current one. Not all rides have Fastpass, and some rides might be so far away that the speed walk it takes to get that Fastpass isn't worth it. Try and get to the most popular Fastpasses first thing in the morning.

so confussing!
Thanks for the tips.
I think I am ready to just drive to the airport and on with the fun!! Come on Disney. :flower:

Definitely look at the Fastpass to see what time it says you can get your next Fastpass. When we were in Epcot on our recent trip, I ran over to Test Track to get Fastpasses for DH and DS while everyone else in the family hung out in the shade -- the Fastpass for TT wasn't good ffor 3 hours but stated I could get another Fastpass right away, so I ran over and snagged Fastpasses for The Land and Soarin'. We grabbed lunch and then were able to use the fastpasses for The Land, Soarin', and Test Track (in that order) with minimal waits.

At MK, on the same trip, I snagged Fastpasses for Philharmagic just as we were getting in line for Dumbo. By the time we were done riding Dumbo, it was time for our return to Philharmagic. But before going in Philharmagic, I jumped over and grabbed Fastpasses for Peter Pan. By the time we were out of Philharmagic, we were able to go right over to Peter Pan. We did 3 attractions, but only waited in one line.

You can do a lot using the Fastpass system for the attractions nearest to you, but if you are running across the park to get tickets for just one or two rides, then send one member of your family with all of the tickets -- it's much easier and faster for one person to jog across the park than it is to drag the entire family.
