How many fast passes can you get at once? If you are going during high time, what time do the fast passes usually run out, especially splash mountain?

You can only get one at a time. At busy times they can run out fast so you should start out early

You can only have one at a time. Once the window opens up for the first Fastpass, you can then get another one. They usually give you a two hour window to use your Fastpass in.

I don't know about all places and rides but at Epcot TT and MS can have no more Fastpasses by lunchtime.

Also on a Saturday around 11:00a you could try and get a Fastpass for Pooh and have to come back in 4 hours!!!

You can get another fast pass in about two hours* or when the one you have is ready to use, whichever comes first.

Normally you have a one hour "window" to come back and ride. For shows that admit people about every hour or two hours you have 15 minutes to come back. The fast pass may or may not be honored after it expires.

*Sooner if the park is not that busy.

Disney hints:

1. You get a fast pass for Splash Mountain at 11 AM and the come back time is 3 PM. You can get another fast pass at about 1 PM.

2. You get a fast pass for Haunted Mansion at noon and the come back time is 12:45. You can get another fast pass at about 12:50.

our stradegy at mgm is go ride tot get a person to go to rock n roll and get fastpasses i am 11 but been 15 times

Be sure to check the fast pass ticket for the time when you can get another fast pass. It is printed in smaller print under the fast pass time window on the ticket (I am looking at one I did not use right now). It is usually five minutes after the window opens but I had several on the trip we just returned from that had a time earlier than that. So check them. We went during a slow time but we never had to wait two hours. We did get to the parks early and got fast passes while riding in the standby lines. The lines remained light in the am, and not many people were getting fast passes that early so the return times and therefore the time we could get another fast pass was relatively short.

With getting in early and getting fastpasses as soon as we could, we were able to ride many times. It was great. Off seasons is the key.

July 4, 2004, sell out times were as follows:

Big Thunder Mt 11:13 pm
Buzz Lightyear 10:59 pm
Peter Pan 8:57 pm
PhilharMagic 11:20 pm
Pooh 11:20 pm
Space Mt. 7:08 pm
Splash Mt. 7:37 pm

It's impossible to predict when a location sells out. It is based on demand and park hours.

How soon you can get another fastpass depends on the crowds.I got a fastpass for thunder mountain and could get another pass in 25 minutes. It used to be every 2 hours then they went every hour.I asked the attendant about it.He told me it depends on the crowds now.But like snappy said its always five minutes after your fastpass ride time starts. My advice is get there early like when they open.Get on the rides you want with no waiting, but start getting fastpasses A.S.A.P.Keep them don't use them. Then later in the morning around 11:30ish it starts to get crowded, start using your fastpasses.I usually have 3 or 4. by then. You can then see some of the show's like country bear or mickeys philharmonic(not sure if spelled right). But get passes before or after each show when you can for rides you haven't done yet. With a little planning you should be able to do a lot even if crowded. You do not have to use the fastpass for the time it says. You can use it anytime that day just not before the time on the pass.If the pass says 10:35-11:35 you can use the pass from 10:35 till the park or ride closes that day.A lot of people don't know that.Hope that helps.Mike

My DW ::MinnieMo and I were at DL for last Christmas. We conducted an experiment :teacher: . We obtained Fastpass' for Haunted Mansion, Star Tours, Indiana Jones, and Roger Rabbit all in the same hour. I have a photo of them but do not have access to it right now. We heard this could be done so we decided to try and it worked.

We had to hustle to get them all but it was fun.

OK, if at Epcot the FP are gone by lunchtime for Test Track and MS, how we will be able to get one for Soarin too when it opens? How is the best way to see all 3 main attractions?

I am sorry but this has not been the case in my experience especially during busy times. It is up to the discretion of the CM if you can use the fastpass after your ride window has expired. I have personally been turned away at MGM only 15 or so minutes after my return window due to a PS snaffu. I saw two groups turned away at Test Track in December as they had missed the ride window. The fast pass has a return window not a return anytime after time!

So while some have reported success in using an expired Fast Pass I would not recommend using it as a "strategy". If you legitimately miss your window it can't hurt to try and use it but if you want to ride the attraction be sure and arrive during your window. Just my experience!

ITA! Being able to use the Fastpass for the rest of the day defeats the purpose of Fastpass. I've heard of people doing this but hope that CMs for the most part are doing their jobs.

I guess it depends on the CM. I have never been turned away, and we were there at Easter 2003 and Thanksgiving 2002, but never Christmas or New Years. I have specifically asked the CM at the fastpass return if I could use the pass anytime during the rest of the day and I was told yes. Sounds like some inconsistency here. What if the ride is down for awhile throughout you window period? That sure happened alot last week throughout the parks. What then?

Anyone have an official Disney ruling on this?

I have asked not only the fp monitors but also the supervisor's that you see walking around.Disney WILL let you ride the attraction after the time window. The cm's who turned you away were either new or ill informed,or maybe it happened not long after the fp program started.I have AP's for Disney and go quite a bit.Trust me on this.Disney may not advertise this but they do allow it.The idea of the fp is to let you do other things besides standing in line i.e shop, eat etc...and that means your spending money instead of standing in line not spending money. In fact i was just there 2-12 thru 2-16 with no problems, and it was very crowded. There were a ton of high school cheerleader's from all over the country.Mike

Not quite, as I said in my post my experience was in December. Once it happend to us and I saw two other occasions where other parties were in front of us with expired fast passes and turned away. I also visit the parks frequently for whatever that is worth?

I still don't advise using this as a strategy as you will have a family who has not been and read here that it is OK to return anytime they feel like it. Then when the CM's says no I am sorry your FP has expired, as has happened to me, they may miss the chance to ride and unlike you and I they may not be returning. I am just relating my personal experience.

WOW,did I hit a button or what.I'll tell you what,if Disney say's it ok to use the passes after the window then I will, you don't have to.I won't hold it against ya.I only stated I go to Disney a lot to let people know that I've never had a problem with it.Whew I sure hope I don't sound that snoby(lol).Have a great time in Orlando whatever you do.Mike.

Wow, this is the absolute first time in my life I have been called snoby and I am quite certain that I am not anything close to snoby. If my post came off that way I apologize I was simply relating my personal experience in relation to using an expired fast pass.

Please stick to the topic and leave your opinon of me off the board.

btw - my bil and sil live in clearwater on the largo line, LOVE the area. We stay at the beach at least 2x a year and if there is anywhere but boston I would live it would be Clearwarter/Largo or Dunedin.
