Fastpass

You all have earned a Fastpass to H E double hockey sticks. And they will be honored after the window, but I don't think that will be a problem. :rotfl:

Here is my first hand info. I have used late FP every day since Saturday at MK, HS and Epcot, no problems.

Wal Mart is not a restaurant, and therefore, your post is out of place. I'm asking the mods to have your comment removed.

I dunno, see, the Wal-Marts around here all have McDonalds in them, if the news was heard close enough to the arches. . .

I'm just sayin'.

Is that anything like "It's all fun and games until someone gets poked in the eye by a t_catt"?

No, I think it's more a matter of "all work and no t_catt makes the DIS a dull board"

We were there the 15th-22nd. We also used late FPs every day. The only "problem" we encountered on the last day was a lecture by a CM on how someday, in the future, they won't let us do that anymore. After her lecture, she let us go through the FP line.

Hmmm, you be be technically correct.

To quote Futurama - the best KIND of correct.

Was this the notorious Space Mountain CM?

That greeter should have known that the bus drivers are far more in the know than are cashiers. If it doesn't come from a bus driver, don't trust it.

I didn't know there was a notorious Space Mountain CM. Can you provide a link to the story? :surfweb:

We were lectured on Peter Pan, at about 6:00 on a MNSSHP night, when we didn't have party tickets. We were using FPs about 3 hours past the window.

Oh my goodness! We must have encounted that same CM!!:lmao:

We were there Oct 15-23rd. Used fastpasses late ALL THE TIME in every park. No one blinked an eye, we even heard a CM (at Test Track) tell another guest that fastpasses were honored from the time they became active until the park closed, EXCEPT this one CM at Space Mountain gave this lecture, "What if everyone showed up late? It's rude!" But then she let us on anyway. This was on Sun the 16th. We never had any other issues with it for the whole rest of the week, even at Toy Story! And she must not have been working when we went back to MK on the 22nd and rode SM late twice - lol. :rotfl:

We've ran into this same CM twice in the last year (last May and again in Sept).:rotfl: I think that CM just has her own problem/agenda with people using fast passes late.:rotfl::rotfl: That CM is the only one that's ever given us any problem using a fast pass late.

Some CMs really need to keep their personal feelings to themselves. The year free dining was first offered we had breakfast one morning at CRT. Our waitress asked if we were on 'free' dining and when we told her we were, she gave us a really long lecture on how free dining was stealing money from Disney and how it should never have been offered. She just wouldn't shut up and I finally told her, 'Well it was Disney's decision' and if she had that big a problem with it, she really should take it up with Disney and not harrass the guests about it. I guess she finally got the point. She apologized for giving us a hard time about it and said it just really irritated her that so many people were taking advantage of Disney. lol This whacko was really irritating and we were about ready to call a manager on her. It sounds like someone needs to talk to a manager about the Space Mountain CM. When I was there in Sept I asked one of the CMs at the Soarin fast pass machines about late fast passes and he said they were taught in training that fast passes are good until park closing on the day they were issued. He said they weren't allowed to let anyone in before their fast pass time, but were told not to refuse late fast passes because they have no idea why you may have been late.

I have never encountered her myself, but I understand that there is a female CM that works at Space Mountain (often on weekends), that likes to lecture people about using FP late (though she always allows it, per WDW policy).

I understand that there may be another CM at the Kilimanjaro Safaris (Animal Kingdom) with a similar viewpoint.

We were in the parks Oct 11, 12, 13 and 15th. Never had an issue using our FP after the alloted hour. We try to use them within the given time frame or as close to as we can but sometimes it just doesn't work out to get back to that area - especially traveling with 12 people.

I said I know it has been put out there, but this was the first time I actually heard someone tell ME, so I wanted to know. The 50-page thread goes on and on about rumors. This seemed all too real so I just had to ask.

Didn't have time to read this whole thread.
I'm just too busy.

But, it's easy to see the rules are printed right there on the ticket.

The rules are good enough for me.
So, I follow the rules.
And, I teach my family to follow the rules.
But, hey, we're rule-followers.
A whole family of rule-followers, that's us.
Yup. Can't go wrong with the rules.

If the ticket says,

Trio Appetizer, $12,29
Double-Glazed Baby back Ribs, $15.79
French Dip Sliders, $7.29
Strawberry Cheesecake Shooter $1.99
Diet Pepsi $1.99
Applebee's Limeade $2.99

We PAY it.
Rules are rules.
We follow 'em.

WOW!

We already had an "all t-catt on you" on page 2. :lmao: Then by page 3, we had a listing of Robo's dinner. :lmao: What is happening to this world? It usually goes 20+ pages til the big guns come out...

It must be a party:

Just out of curiosity, to see if it is the same person we ran into on Peter Pan, what did the CM who lectured you look like? Ours was on the heavy side, short (she was shorter than me and I'm 5'4") and Latina. She had a moderate accent but spoke English fluently. She probably lectured us for 2-3 minutes--long enough for a line to form behind us.

We don't eat at the applebees. Bad service and the food isn't worth the price.

I can dig on some Ruby Tuesday's though, good food, tall beers and a salad bar. For my money, you can't beat a salad bar.

Remember when Wendy's had salad bars?

Roy Roger's had "Fixin's Bars". Roy Rogers, boy that places me geographically, doesn't it.
