Any DLR entrance ticket, parkhopper or otherwise, can be used to get a FP.thanks so much for your help, sorry to sound like I don't understand but just to clairify as long as I buy the parkhopper bonus ticket I will be able to print out fastpass? Thanks So much you really made my day I was hoping to go the last week in June knowing it will be busier than usual I didn't mind much as long as I knew there were fastpass!!!!
The stopped it in January. No one knows whether it will ever come back, but there is speculation that they stopped it because of the Year of A Million Dreams (YOAMD) promotion and all the extra FPs they are giving out for that, and that EFP may come back after YOAMD.What a bummer! No enhanced FP from AAA. We are seriously thinking about taking a trip to DL. We were really looking forward to the enhanced FP. When did they stop doing this?
Yes, four days at DLR would be about right. If you plan your driving times well (drive on weekends or late evening), the LA/Orange County traffic should be manageable - though I understand why you are concerned.I apologize in advance if this topic has been discussed ad nauseum. I only recently came to the DL boards, I usually hang out in the WDW boards. DD saw the Disneyland portion of the vacation video and is begging to go to DL, so we are thinking of skipping WDW this year and heading to DL. I have a trip booked for July at WDW and might switch to DL. These boards have been very helpful.
I really do want to visit DL, but it looks like most folks only stay at DL for a max of 4 days, and then visit Los Angeles. We would have to rent a car and do quite a bit of driving on LA freeways. I don't know if I'm willing to do that. The thought of driving in LA, frankly, freaks me out. We typically go to WDW and stay there or go on a cruise and go on ship sponsored excursions or fly to an all inclusive beach resort. We don't leave the vacation resorts and drive around in unfamilar surroundings. So I really don't know if DL is for us. I know we could skip LA and just stay at Disney for 4 days and go home, but I don't think I want to take a vacation that short.
Check this thread www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1186052 posts #5-7 which address this question.so how do you recomend keeping the regular hopper tickets nice. not getting bent so the machine can read them? Or is that no problem....
How do you hang on to your tickets? Lanyard? Wallet? Fanny pack? What about wet rides?
You're right...this was a great feature & a real difference from WDW. Much less time moving from hotel to park (or between parks). Thanks Hydroguy! I did read your guide to DL for WDW vets and that was part of the reason we are thinking about going. I really liked how everything at DL is right there, not a whole lot of time is spent traveling between the parks and hotel. This is the #1 selling point of DL.
Will definitely be less humid. (I lived in Houston for 20+ years, so i know of what i speakBeing from South Louisiana, I think the summertime weather in CA will be a nice change.)
So when does Crawfish Season start?I'm from a small town in South Louisiana(& if you try the beignets at DL, report back..would be nice to get the opinion from an expert.

Naw...just consider it another E ticket ride....one of the perks of visiting SoCal.The thought of 10 lane freeways, gives me the chills.![]()
