I am just a little confused on exactly how the Fastpass works. Is it anywhere close to the system that Six Flags uses called Q-Bot? Can anyone help explain it to me a little? TIA!!

OK, my main question is this...(which I couldn't answer from the article), can you only have one Fastpass at a time, even if it is for different rides? For instance, if I wanted a Fastpass for BTMRR and SM, I couldn't get them both at the same time?

You will normally be able to pick up another fastpass when the "window" opens for the first one-ie: if you pick up a fastpass for a ride for 12.30 to 1.30, you will normally be able to pick up another fastpass any time after 12.30-so before haring off to ride 1, go to the next FP ride and get a ticket to return for that later. :goodvibes However not all rides will have fastpass return at the same time-Soarin for example and Test track will often have a fastpass return time of early evening by about midday, whereas another ride may have a fastpass return of only 1-2 hours later all day.

Does that make sense, cos I just re-read it and I'm not sure even I understand what I just wrote! :rotfl2:

Okay, that makes a lot more sense. So Fastpass actually gives you a window of time to come back to the ride that you have the pass for. I was thinking that you had to be back to the ride right away of the pass would be void. Thanks so much! And now I understand about being able to get another once the "window" has started...Totally makes sense! :worship: Thanks again!

Ahhh, but there's more to it....

If the time window for your ride begins more than 2 hours after the FP is distributed, you will be able to get another FP for that or any other ride in two hours....or less...

The FP will have a time printed on it which indicates when you can get another FP. You can get the next FP for any attraction, including the one you already have a FP for. This time may occasionally be only 5 or 10 minutes after you get the FP and probably depends on the attraction and how busy things are in the park.

Also, some attractions will occasionally allow the guest to get another FP before the "allowable time" printed on the FP.

Does it still make sense.....??? :rotfl2:

Don't let them confuse you. ;)

Stick your ticket in the machine, pick up your FastPass, and it'll tell you exactly when you can return to ride the attraction and when you can get your next FastPass. No need to worry about anything else.

OK. Now I'm confused. LOL. If I get a FP for Splash Mountain that tells me to come back in 2 hours can I immediately get different FP, say for BTTMR, or do I have to wait until the time it tells me on the FP? Or is the time printed on the FP only an indication of when I get can another FP for that same ride?

The time printed for getting the "next" FP means for ANY FP attraction, including the one you now have, or any other.

And if you try to get another one before it's time the reverse of this will happen :badpc: The fastpass machine will hit you with a big hammer.

:lmao: It will print you a nice note stating the next time you can get one.

Just check your FP and all the details will be on it.

Two times will be printed on the FP. The first is your return window, ie 11:05-12:05. Simply return to that attraction during that window and ride via the fastpass line with "little to no wait" you will need the FP ticket to enter the queue.

The other is the time you can obtain another fastpass for any attraction at that theme park. You can't get another FP at all until that second time. After that next fastpass time you can get a new FP for another attraction or even the same one.

Each attraction wil also have the return time clearly posted above the FP machines. Make sure the return time fits with your day before you get a FP that will limit your ability to get another.

FP is really, really easy to use but for some reason not always easy to exolain.

Thank you. I'm psyched to be one of the enlightened ones. :cool1: I think I finally get it, but we won't know for sure until 2 weeks from now. :bitelip:
