Hello! I am an AP and consider myself a seasoned WDW traveller, but this situation has me a bit puzzled. Hopefully someone can help me out!

My DH and I will be traveling to WDW Nov. 30-Dec. 8 of this year. I have an AP and DH has a 9 day park hopper ticket. We hold reservations at several resorts. Originally, we scheduled a length of stay room only reservation at POFQ. Long story short, we were unable to convert that into an AP discount room, so we scheduled a split stay at ASM and CSR using my AP discount (it was all that was available during our stay with an AP discount :worried:). So...we currently have 3 resort reservations:
1. POFQ Nov. 30-Dec. 8
2. ASM Nov. 30-Dec. 4, then the 2nd half of the trip at CSR from Dec. 4-Dec. 8

Here's where the conundrum comes in...We have been planning on cancelling the POFQ reservation and keeping the ASM/CSR split stay reservations (I just haven't gotten around to it yet). Our 60 day FP+ date is this Monday, Oct. 1.
  • Should I cancel the POFQ reservation prior to Oct. 1 or keep it? If I do cancel it, Will I only be able to schedule FP+ for Nov. 30-Dec. 4 and have to wait until later in the week to schedule FP+ for Dec. 4-Dec. 8?
  • If I keep the POFQ reservation and schedule all 9 days worth of FP+, will they be cancelled when I later cancel the POFQ reservation??? I have read in the past that if you keep the reservation until past the 30 day mark and then cancel, all of the FP+ will be saved, is this true?

Hopefully someone here has been in the same situation and can give advice. Thanks for all of your help!

You will be able to get all FPs on the original 60 day mark because the system doesn’t differentiate for split stays. That won’t matter if you keep or cancel the POFQ one!

You’ll be able to book FPs from the 30th thru the 8th with your Split Stay so Cancel POFQ.
