FastPass+ wait times

For our upcoming trip, we will be using FastPass+ for the first time. We have FPs for the big attractions (Flight of Passage, Slinky Dog etc.) that we want. Looking at wait times on the App for Flight of Passage (I know the past weeks have been very busy) the wait is often hours long. I am curious, at how quickly we would get on FOP if we arrived at our set FP time. For example, if our FP time was between 11:30 and 12:30 and we arrived at 11:40, how long would the typical wait be before we could actually get on the ride? Thanks.

I've never waited more than 15 minutes to get to the first preshow room on FOP, usually even less than that. However the 2 preshows add about 10ish minutes to the overall wait before you are actually on the ride. I very, very rarely wait more than 15 minutes for a FP on all other rides as well.

I think the above estimates are reasonable. It is possible to encounter FP waits for FoP that might be longer - eg, if there has been any sort of downtime during the day, etc.

One moment in time recent experience - we had a FP for FoP a few days ago, the FP line was stretched way outside the FP scan point. It didn't look good. We ventured off to do something else, came back around 30 mins later, and there was no line / it was a more normal FP experience. Probably 10 mins to the pre-show, approx. Point being, you can experience some lumpiness at times... but typically even a 'long' FP line moves with some relative efficiency.

The first time we rode FoP with a FP, it took us 30 minutes to get to the first pre-show. The line didn't move for quite a while. I believe the ride must have been down for a bit. We have rode several times since then with FP, and it's usually more like 5-10 minutes before the pre-show.

SDD is also usually 5-10 minutes. Last trip, however, we were the next to board and the ride went down TWICE. Very frustrating. The first time they announced they did not know how long it would be, we could wait if we wanted, but we bailed. Second time they announced it should be long and we waited. It was maybe another 10 minutes.

It can really vary
First, some rides have long waits after you merge with stand by. Usual very short waits before the merge
But some rides like ToT, HM, SDMT, FoP, Soarin, just to name a few, can be about 15, 20 min waiting to board
Some rides move fast
Though even with very long lines the FP line will move quick. Stand by suffers when FP gets backed up
Oddly, last week we went on to FoP with our FP and we skipped the first preshow. Didn't get matched with an Avatar. Was a first for me. I think something went wrong with the room. We stood there a while

It completely depends. We've had relatively long (35ish minutes) FP+ lines for BTMRR and Splash before. Splash was due to an earlier ride closure that backed things up a bit. No clue what happened with BTMRR.
