So for F! and for ROL/ Jungle Book, which seats are better? Does it make a huge difference?

I'm getting antsy now that some of the character dining may have become 2 credits. I'm now wondering if they are holding back F! dining package to change it as well... (speculation of course).

Thanks! :)

I didn't find the seats particularly all that better when we did the F! pkg, it was the fact that we had reserved seating and didn't have to wait in a long line that was the real benefit. I mean, the section they put you in is good, but it's only a fraction of the arena. Somewhere on this site is a map of the F! seating showing exactly the reserved part. I believe with fast pass, it just gets you in before the general crowd, but not in the reserved seating for the packages (but I could be wrong).

Thank you for your response! Does this mean for FP, we would still need to wait with the general crowd? I'm with a 2 year old so I would like to minimize waits! :D

OP-I think yes, you still wait but are let in first when they open the ropes, then the regular line goes in. I also believe FP+ has a separate line next to the regular one. The pkg people have an entirely different entrance over by the Beauty and the Beast theater. In my experience with F! (I've waited in a 90 minute line, gone right after a huge rain storm, and done the package), with small children, the package is the best way to go if it's busy. It could save your sanity. One time we got lucky when it suddenly rained and it cleared the place out as we were walking in. The year we waited over 90 minutes in the heat and with whining children, I wanted to die.

Lol. I can't see entertaining my son in one spot for 90 mins... So hopefully I can get the package! I think for jungle book the opposit is true, dining package is same entrance as regular crowd and FP+ has a separate entrance... Wonder if it will still be like that for ROL...Thanks for your tips!

I'm hoping by the time of our next trip at the end of August that JB is gone and replaced by ROL. I cheated and watched JB on YouTube right after it opened. Can't say I was overly impressed :worried:

I saw on other threads it might be after Labor Day. But maybe they would be doing soft openings by then? Good luck! I did not watch JB yet but have seen mediocre reviews at best. since I'm headed over in Dec, I am also hoping ROL would be showing

Hi! What character dinners have gone to 2 credits?!? Our ADR is for Minnie's Holiday Dine-in November and 1 credit as far as I know! If it changes to 2 credits after you book that would screw up my dining plans for 14 people!

On the other threads, it says Chef Mickeys Tusker House and Akershus is showing as 2 credits for lunch and dinner. It's not confirmed though.

it's changed back. it might be just that way for thanksgiving dinner or maybe a test balloon but as of right now they are back to 1ts again

Nice, thanks! I'm a little worried that they would change all the dining packages to 2TS... I saw they even have a new upcharge event at Tony's to see MSEP now...

as long as we get our stuff booked this week we should be good, I think they will honor old prices even if they change. of course F! is not released yet :-p

Yup that makes me a little suspicious... I wish they would just release it! Lol

I hope they do honor the 1 credit! We have ADR at Tusker house also :( We are booked at HDDR which is 2 credits so we can't afford anymore 2 credit restaurants! So... Is the consensus that they will honor past reservations at 1 credit?
