Fastpass+ testing question

We currently have a room only reservation in mid November linked to MDE. Assuming MDE testing continues through then, do I need to buy tickets (or APs) and link them to MDE to have a chance at being selected to test Fastpass+/Magic Bands? I was just going to wait to buy tickets unless I needed them to get selected.

Being selected to test right now is based on what resort you are staying in.

After you have been selected to test, then you need ticket media to be able to book Fastpass+.

You can get a Magic Band without participating in Fastpass+.

Do you know which resorts are being tested? Wondering if it is worthwhile to book a cash room at either AoA or CBR in Jan 2014 in order to be part of the test...

There is no advance list and no idea what will be going on in January.
