Fastpass+ Strategy for MNSSHP

Here's my strategy and how it worked out. Unfortunately I did not put my plan in place until it was almost too late.

Before buying my MNSSHP tickets I already had an MDE account with a MYW package. My party date is on a Sunday and we are arriving on the previous Thursday and checking in. So I had made my 60day fastpass+ reservations a few days earlier. I plan using my regular ticket at MK the party day as well since I've read MK can be slightly less crowded on party mornings.

I think MDE will only let you have 3 advanced fastpass+ reservations in the system per day. Sooooo in order to get the additional 3 fastpass+'s for the party day (4-7pm) at MK, I made another MDE account. I also made a 1 night campsite reservation (campers feel free to judge away, but I do plan on canceling it after the 30 day mark) to allow me to book 60days out and I bought the MNSSHP tickets on that new account.

Now here is the crappy part.... after all that work, my 60day window opens up, keep in mind I made the campsite reservation for the party night only, and hardly anything is available for 4-7pm, I guess they have already been gobbled up by the "pre-60day-ers." The big two (A&E and 7DMT) were off the board which I expected from booking my other fastpass+'s already a few days back. I was able to get a 5-6pm for space mountain and a 4-5pm for Haunted Mansion, but by the time I got to making the 3rd reservation there was nothing left so it just defaulted to 3-4pm for whichever attraction I picked that was still on the board. There were plenty of things left with pre-4pm slots but I am guessing that everything 4-7pm had been gobbled up already. It does seem strange that even the low tier attractions (mad tea party, small world, etc) would not have any offerings tho.

So here's a couple quetions.


I mean I was logging in at the 60-day mark and barely anything was available....Does anyone agree that all the fastpass+'s were gone for even the un-wantables? Or does that seem strange.

Will the MNSSHP fastpass+'s be on the magic bands sent for my campsite or will the be on a hard ticket (like the old key to the world type cards) of some kind?

If I cancel the campsite after the 30day mark (that is the magic band shipment mark right?) will I be charged for those magicbands?

Its not all that complicated. I am not sure why you went through all that trouble for 3 lousy FP+. Cancel your camp ressie and call disney and tell them you made a mistake and combine your MDE accounts and call it a day.
