Does anyone know if you can come back a little later than your return time on your fastpass? They are doing this at Disneyworld, just wondering if you can do it at Disneyland too.

It started at DLR and then moved to WDW. Plus DLR has some other FP idiosyncracies that WDW does not.

The above are good reads, but the very short answer to you question is:

Unless the Park is crazy busy (aka: nea/at capacity), yes. You can come back anytime after the return time.

once you get your fast pass it is good for an hour. and when you use your fast pass are the lines really shorter. is the fast pass acually worth getting .

This is what HydoGuy and I were replying to above. You can return anytime after the first time listed, not just for an hour. :goodvibes

If the line is short, save your FP for later.

Yes, you can definitely return later than the one hour window given on your fastpass. I have done this many times at DL and never had a problem. One CM did ask us where we had been all day when we used an 8:40am Space Mountain fastpass at 8:00pm or so. :) You should have no problems doing this. Hydroguy's tips for maximizing fastpass are worth reading and trying.

I've used them a few days later. I wonder what the oldest fastpass ever redeemed is? :)

FP is absolutely worth getting! They can be used anytime in the same day after the window. We like to collect them in the morning and use them in the evening after dinner.

You are supposed to use the same day you get them, not days later. But an exception to that rule that I experienced was that Indy was down every time we tried to use our FPs one day, the CM at about 11:30 that night said "use them tomorrow, we will make sure they are accepted tomorrow too" and noted and signed the FP saying the same thing. We came back the next day and used them with no problems.
However, we tend to collect FPs all day and then at night after dinner we run thru park riding EVERY FP ride we can, most of our FP are "expired" by that time, meaning past the hour window, but I've never had a problem using them, not even when the parks were jam packed and full to capacity. :)

Yeah, they are not SUPPOSED to be accepted on any other day, unless there is a circumstance like pixie described where the ride is down all day.

Just echoing what everyone else said - you can use them any time after your initial return time. I've gotten FPs with return times of 10am and went back at 9:30pm and the CM told me I was too early, since he automatically assumed it said AM :rotfl: If that happens to you, just tell them it says AM.

FPs are so useful if you collect them and save them. Definitely read HydroGuy's tips :thumbsup2

the reason why you can se them nyime is the disney lawers couldn't get the rule signed in time for the 1 hour rule.

I think one time I was rushing to make it to a ride before my FP expired. A CM told me -- confidentially -- that FPs will almost always be honored anytime after the specified window.

I'll be a DL next week -- Tuesday and half of Wednesday. I leave for LA early tomorrow morning :-).

"the reason why you can use them anytime is the disney lawyers couldnt get the rule signed in time for the 1 hour rule."

Fixed?

But, that doesn't make sense. What do you mean the lawyers could not get the rule signed in time? FPs have been used for years. I still don't understand what you are saying. :confused3

Lawyers never make sense. I think that is what she was saying!
