Hello!

I was just wondering... at DL, does it work the same way as at DW, in that you can pretty much use a fastpass to return to a ride any time after the printed time? (like you don't have to necessarily return between the minutes printed on the ticket?)

thanks so much in advance!

Yes. In fact this became policy at DLR before it did at WDW.

Hey, Hydroguy...

Noticed you're in Denver, too...

How do you like this weather? :lmao:

Kinda makes you wish you could be sitting in Adventureland, eating a Dole Whip, eh?

Can't agree with you! Love the snow. Ski season! Located in Colorado Springs. Lots of snow today. :)

LOL...

I'm in Arvada (Jefferson County)...tons of snow...snow day for the kids.

I know all the skiiers are cheering. Sounds like you are among them :rotfl:

I don't mind the snow as long as I can cozy up with a book and a hot chocolate.

Enjoy the snow!

:santa:

They do look at the times on the FP tickets, but let you come back anytime after the return time listed on the ticket.

The only time we got momentarily held up: Got an Indiana Jones FP for return time 8:50 AM first thing one morning. Finally got back to the area about 6:30 PM to ride. They looked at the time and thought it said 8:50 PM. Once I pointed the AM/PM difference out, we were immediately waved through. I suppose they are used to seeing mostly routine return times.

I educated a few people while we were chatting in lines. :)

The CM at HMH almost didn't let me through. My FP was for 10:20 am and it was 9:45pm. I pointed out the am and he said this is why we have such a wait and not to do it again.

Yes, sometimes for the most popular rides they get twitchy about it.

But the CM's just being silly. If you think about the day in total, the stand-by people choosing to get in line at that time would have been behind you anyway, they just wouldn't have seen you. If everyone came back at the exact right time they'd still ride in front of the standby people that came later...it all works out.

Now sometimes CMs get a bit crazy with how many FP people they let through...happened when we had FPs for Grizzly and I felt really bad that they were letting through so many of us. I think Buzz CMs probably do the best job of figuring how many to let through at once and they flipflop regularly when I've used FP there...

Anyway, that CM was being silly. Or...since they aren't supposed to be silly there, perhaps he was in character and trying to spook you.
