We are going in August, my family of 4 and my parents. All 6 people are under one reservation staying at BLT. Just a few questions about fastpass+:

1.) Can you book fastpass+ for different rides for 2 people in your party if they want to go on something else than the other 4 people?

2.) If 2 people are going to a different park than the other 4 people, can you book separate fast passes for them at that other park?

3.) If you have a fastpass booked for 1 person and they decide they do not want to go on the ride, can another person use their magic band to gain access to that fastpass?

Yes.

Yes, as long as all FP+ selections for an individual are in the same park (no park hopping with FP+).
3.) If you have a fastpass booked for 1 person and they decide they do not want to go on the ride, can another person use their magic band to gain access to that fastpass?
Even though FP+ selections are non-transferable per the Terms & Conditions, I've not heard of anyone actually being stopped at the FP+ entrance if using the MagicBand from someone else.

With the way the system works now, you can book everyone's fp's separately in any park on any day. At present, all the fp's for each person must be booked in the same park for each day. For example, DH is arriving 3 days after us and is not doing waterparks - so we have a day of fp's booked for me and DD and a day where he is going to Epcot alone.

You also have the option to copy any of your selections from one person to another person on your MDE, provided those selections are available, if they choose to do what you're doing ie. you don't have to go through the whole selection process trying to get them all the same.

And some people have said they were able to use the MB to get additional fp's from a person who didn't want to ride. That may not work in August but at any rate, it will definitely not work if that person is in another park at the time.

The answer is yes to all those questions. Have a magical trip.

Last question may change its answer soon. We were just on site, used MBs and they checked a screen for our validity to be using FP+....used 'em but it's being looked at.

All it says is the persons name correct? As long as it's a girl using a girls MB and a boy using a boys MB should be ok.

Yes. And unless they start asking for ID at the rides, I doubt that this will change, even with male/female name discrepancies.

So..here is a question..say you have a DVC reservation and you buy park tickets from Undercovertourist. Can you then attach those park tickets to your MDE as long as your DVC ressie shows and be able to use FP + at 60 days out?

That's not good news. We are going with our just 2 yr old grandson and was hoping on going on some rides twice over for him. Once with grandpa and then once with grandma. But at times, grandma OR grandpa is his favorite, so we thought grandson would just go on ride twice with that person just switching MB.

OP, thank you for asking these questions. I had the same ones. I'm sure there will be times, we will have grandson while his parents are off somewhere else.

My friend just came back and her teenager was able to use her 3 year old brother's magicband (she'd go once with mom and once with dad) for all the rides he wasn't going to do.
