Fastpass Question

I was wondering if the fastpass machines start giving tickets once the MK officially opens. I wanted to run by Space Mountain at opening and get Fastpasses while the rest of my family goes to Dumbo and possibly Winnie the Pooh before returning to Space Mountain. Will this work? What do you think of the plan

I think (if I'm remembering what I read right) if it's morning EMH for the park, the FastPass machines don't start up until the regular opening. However, maybe someone who has actually done the morning EMH can verify this.

Can you get as many fastpasses as you want or does each ticketholder have to be there to take a fastpass?

You have to have on park ticket per FP. One person can go and get them all whicle others wait in line elsewhere, though.

Is there an "average" amount of time that a Fastpass will be active? Like if I get one at 9:00 am, is it around 10:30 or 11:00 they would be ready to use?
Trying to plan picking up and then using Fastpasses.

If you get one at 9am, it should be for 1005-1105 with the second FP being available at 1010.

Yes, that should work. One of us would often take our tickets and get fast passes while the rest of us stood in line somewhere else. That really saves time.
