Well, while we are on this subject...
I booked my Disney trip at the beginning of this month for May, through
AAA. I booked everything through them - air, hotel, tickets.
I was originally going to stay for 5 nights, but I had the agent get me numbers for 6 nights. She got back to me with a total for 6 nights, and it sounded good, so I went with the 6 nights.
Then she called me back and said the person she spoke to at Disney to get the quote made a mistake on the 6 night amount, and it was not correct.
Now, here's the strange thing...
When she called me back, she said that because of the confusion with the amounts, the person she spoke to at Disney was going to "give" me "Fastpass" to make up for the problems. (I've only been to Disney once before, about 10 years ago and there was no Fastpass, but I had read about it and that didn't make sense to me - how could they "give" me Fastpass when making a reservation.)
The AAA agent was not sure either, she said there were some long strings of numbers the Disney agent gave to her that were being attached to my reserveration for this "Fastpass" thing.
Anyone have any idea what this would be all about? It's not a big deal to me, so I just ignored it, but I have been curious as to what they "gave" me.
