If you miss the time frame given on the fastpass, can you still use your fastpass later in the day?
And if you don't use the fastpass, can you still get another one for a different ride?:Pinkbounc

We just got back 2 weeks ago. <sniff!> The cast members at the attractions were pretty strict about only letting people in who had fast passes for the time indicated, so I doubt you could come late. The bottom of the fastpass now indicates what time you are able to obtain another fastpass, so getting another pass shouldn't be a problem.

The Cast Members won't let you come early, but we were a little late on a couple of rides with no problem.

As indicated in the posts above, cast members are, and should be, very strict about not letting anyone in earlier than their fastpass window. However, they will almost always give you the benefit of the doubt and allow you to enter late, assuming that circumstances beyond your control kept you from returning at the appropriate time. In answer to the second part of your question, whether or not you actually ever use a fastpass you attain does not affect your ability to get another one...you just must wait until the time printed on the bottom of your ticket, which is 5 minutes after your window opens, or 2 hours after you obtained the ticket, whichever comes first. Hope this helps!!!:D

We were told by a CM last year that one can always enter after the window has opened-- even if the "end point" had been reached, regardless of circumstances beyond one's control. I wonder if that was misinformation, or if this is a new set of rules?

Well, it wasn't misinformation that the cast member gave you, it just isn't something that they like to advertise. Their thinking in this matter is that there are going to be guests who try very hard to return within their window, but due to a dinner reservation, or a parade, etc., they aren't able to, and they don't want to penalize these guests. Therefore, they give everyone the benefit of the doubt and allow them to enter late, though it might be at the discretion of the cast member. Basically, try to arrive within your window, but if something keeps you from arriving on time, don't toss them out, try to use them when you can, and explain the situation...Cast members are great and will always try to help and sympathize with a situation:D !!

While waiting for my friend to ride TOT, I was visiting with a CM at the entrance to the FastPass line. She told me that you are allowed to enter FastPass any time that day after your stated window, no matter how late you might be.

This was the first time I had heard of this, and I always thought maybe she was mistaken!! :D
