Fastpass question....

Count me in as being "above the law". We us our FP's late all the time. What can I say? I don't like being on a schedule ;) .

Awww...see now, if you're referencing what I said, you took that waaaaay out of context as I wasn't referring to using FPs at all with that statement. I was acutally thinking along the "in general" mindset and thinking about people who cut you off in traffic, truth be told. (Thus the "FPs aside" quote you must have overlooked.;) ) If you look at one of my other posts, you'll see where I said we'd used them late too...so I'm definately not condemning the practice...

I'm always amazed at the way things get twisted around sometimes.

If we really can't/shouldn't use them past the time, they should tell the CM's to stop telling us we can then. LoL. :)

I loathe people who think they are above the rules and that their time and motivations are more important than those of others.

Yes, I agree. Let's get back to civil.

Two CMs told us, and apparently other posters, it was okay to use our Fastpasses after the expired time on the Fastpass ticket. Right now I am reading the back of one of our unused Fastpasses (I save them for the kids scrapbooks) it says:

Please enter the FASTPASS entrace at the attraction between the times noted on the other side.

Cannot accept early arrivals. Valid only on date printed.

Operating hours of the attraction are subject to change without notice.

Not valid for admission to any theme park.
Allposted height restrictions apply for each attraction.

It says cannot accept early arrivals, it doesn't say ANYTHING about not accepting late arrivals. This policy alone leaves it open for the CM to decide. I am sure if it is a busy time, or a busy ride like Soarin', and the lines, including the FP line are backed up, they turn people away, but most CMs allow this practice on a daily basis.

Sorry, did not meen to bring you into this. I did not even see your original post. I was just making a general comment.

...and just incase I cut you off in traffic, or cut in front of you in line I apologize for that too :lmao: (Just kidding, I don't really do those things. Well, not intentionally ;) )

LOL...I am very sorry for the misunderstanding then.:hippie: And here I just thought you were trying to live out your screen name...ha ha ha.:rotfl: <just kidding> Seriously though...there are so many times I'm out and see kids acting like hoodlums and the parents not batting an eye and I just think, "boy if I'd done that when I was a kid..." Or people who don't follow the basic rules of the road (4 way stops and passing in the emergency lane, big probs around here) and then want to get mad at you for being 'in their way.'....I think society in general could use a good dose of common sense and courtesy lately!:wizard: Oy vey, don't get me started!

You left out the first part of my quote, which said, "FPs aside...both in Disney and elsewhere...":cool2:
I wasn't referring to FPs with that statement.:confused3

Like I said, being fully aware of what they say on the back, I've used them late too.:thumbsup2

Glad to see I am not the only Disney scrapbook junkie though! I save every scrap of paper for the most part. DH makes fun of me..."You want to save this napkin I used for your book?" Memories! I'm creating memories! He'll appreciate it one day!
