Hi

I was wondering how this will work. We are a family of 4 using 3 CM passes. I will have to buy a 3 day park hopper for myself. I'm confused on how to book FP + for all 4 of us. Can I book my whole family under my FP+ reservation? Then link there ticket numbers into the app the day of? Does the CM passes have an "actual" ticket number on them?

Thanks for any input or advice

The CM Guest Passes cannot be linked to MDE at this time. Even after park entry, they cannot be linked to MDE.

You will have to have an iPad CM book their Fp+ to match, or get close to, your Fp+ schedule. The iPad CM reads the Guest Passes with his iPad and assigns a name to the card... it is usually the last number of the identifying ticket number.

Do not link the Guest Passes to MDE as each Guest Pass identifies it as belonging to a specific cast member and all CMs know not to link to MDE at this time.

Thank you very much for your reply Itinkso.. So would it be beneficial to book FP+ to MDE now? Then hope a CM would be able to fit the rest of my family in my time frame? Is that possible? Is the CM with the ipad by the kiosks? I asked my aunt who is a CM and she didn't seem to know any of my questions.

Thank you for your time

Good question...we are coming down this summer and my brother is getting us in with his silver pass. Will we be able to go to the kiosks each day to schedule our 3 fast passes for that day? Trying to make sure I full know what to expect since this seems as if it is going to be a VERY different experience for us compared to the many times we have visited before!

The iPad CMs are very good at manipulating the system to get the times that you want. I would suggest going in at park opening or within an hour of park opening... DHS opens quite a few minutes early on a daily basis and if TSMM is needed, get there early.

iPad CMs can be found at most of the kiosks. In MK, we found iPad CMs in Fantasyland. There were kiosks with CMs present in Tomorrowland. In DHS, the iPad CMs at the Hat and ToT had the shortest wait times and they can manipulate everything faster due to a shorter listing of rides and the tiering. We didn't go into AK and Epcot for rides last month.

At DHS, we did find that late in the day, one TSMM was available. I asked the CM to book us individually but he didn't understand what we were attempting to try - we were a group of 6. We were just experimenting as we are DL/WDW vets and have ridden TSMM a number of times. But, if there isn't a grouping of 3 that will match your Fp+ schedule, ask the CM to search and book for each individual guest to get close to your times.

If the CM can't find times close to your Fp+ scheduling, then you should ask to cancel yours and have all four done together.

Hopefully they will include CMs in the MDE pre-booking process before you arrive, but, last month we did find we could still ride headliners even if we didn't get to a park until 4:00 in the afternoon. Good luck to you!

Really won't be that much different except that the limit will be 3 FP's. Instead of the legacy machines that you would have to visit multiple times, you will just visit one kiosk area and schedule all at one time, each day.

Thank you so much Itinkso. Great info and advice

Unfortunately, they will have to be booked day-of. We were there on Monday and I pre booked passes for my mom and I (she is CM, I am ap) and when she tapped her card, the selections were GONE. The CMs over at city hall say you cannot link them to MDE because the system crashes if you do so. hope you still have a great vacation!

We will be down there may 10th. I hope things change but if not, no big deal. Thanks again guys
