FastPass+ must be coming soon

Universal just decreased their social distancing to 3 ft instead of 6. Markers are already adjusted, and the new policy takes effect today (in addition Universal and Disney are no longer doing temp checks, as of a week or two from now).

If Disney decreases the markers from 6 to 3 ft as well, that will increase capacity almost back to pre-covid levels, at least in terms of lines (maybe not shows). 3 ft is just about the normal distance most people stand from each other. If that is the case I would really hope FP (or something like it, virtual que, etc) returns as well because those long lines are going to get much longer!

Wouldn't be surprised to see Disney follow this in a week or so. But I agree that FP would be great if they are going to increase capacity. Personally I wonder how much they've been increasing it and just not announcing any increase.

If they do change it, I hope it's only in the outdoor queues. I hope they keep the 6 foot spacing in the indoor parts.

The fast pass button is showing up on my reservations this am - I go Aug 7 and it says I can start booking fastpasses June 8

YES - I go in daily just to see if I can get a discounted room and there it was and that is the date I can start looking for dining reservations. The site is acting up so perhaps they are updating other things as well.

Dollywood has a Timesaver pass that is free to people staying at their hotel but cost $44-$55 per day for everyone else. Disney could do something like that, free for people staying at a deluxe (oh I forgot, I'm staying at a deluxe in September). :)
