I am trying to make FP for July. We are passholders and staying onsite. We have no trips booked between now and July (so no FP until the day after we arrive in July). Right now I have 6 days of FP bookedfor July, including a Thursday and a Saturday. I want to add three on the in between Friday. I think I am experiencing a glitch but would appreciate opinions before I have to call Disney tech.

When I try to select a park for the Friday date, I am told the maximum number of FastPass has been reached. I have zero FP on that date. I should be able to add three, right? I was able to add both other consecutive days, the Thursday before and the Saturday after, with no issues. Also, I can add FP for the previous Saturday when we arrive (right now I have nothing scheduled then as we arrive late, but I wanted to try it just to see if I could), so it doesn’t seem to be an issue of having “too many” FP for our trip (not that I’ve ever heard of that either, but I was curious!). It’s happening both on the app and the website from my computer (I’ve tried using both normal and private browsing). Any idea what’s going on here? Do I need tech support?

It sounds like a glitch. Will it let you do a FP in a different park that day, or none at all?
If it doesn't correct either on the app or computer, I would call member services, they should be able to get the FPs scheduled for you or help fix the problem.

Sounds like a glitch, but I know there are a lot of FP issues going on right now generally.

Thanks. I am experiencing this with any park on that day.

Good luck, the app is really nice when it works and really frustrating when it doesn't.
We had a similar issue when we were in the parks and wanted to order our food online and it wouldn't take the order. Kept trying and eventually it worked, but frustrating.

How many days tickets do you have? Do you have a pass that has blackout dates?

My son ran into that and it had to do with the number of days of tickets and how we had the other days booked.

Are you booking for more days than you have ticket days for?

Annual passholders are supposed to be able to book 7 days worth of fastpasses - but that is not supposed to include resort stays. Seen this happen before where it counts the resort stays toward the 7 days. Definitely need tech support to work it out.

When’s the expiration date for the APs? I had some trouble one time and I didn’t realize my AP expired mid-trip. :rolleyes1

The FP system on the web is wonky right now, I’d be inclined to give it time to recover and if still a problem, make the call.

It’s the 90 day CL FP booking window that is causing your AP FP booking to think you are maxed out. There’s a whole page or so in the CL FP Logistics thread discussing how the 90 day open window is not based on an onsite stay - therefore the system thinks you are booking offsite FPs and maxes you out.

Glad to see this thread. This is why I visited the DisBoards today. FP+ is super glitchy today. I gave up on my laptop and went to MDE on my phone. Got TSM (which I didn't even know was available for my date--thought it was still closed for FP) and ToT and then it quit on me again. The message I'm receiving says all parks have reached maximum FP+ limit for that day. I suppose that would mean all FPs are gone in all parks. That's a scary thought. And I'm booking for a Wednesday--not even a weekend.

Except even if I were offsite (we aren’t for any of this trip), wouldn’t I have seven days of FP with my AP? Right now we have Sunday thru Thursday and Saturday. That’s 6 days...so I should be able to book one more day even following the offsite rule. Out of curiosity, I tried to make FP reservations for the Saturday that we arrive (no plans to go to park that day as we arrive late), and I did that successfully (I cancelled those as we won’t be using them). I didn’t realize Disney just did maintenance on the FP system (any time there is tech work, problems are sure to follow). I am going to give it a couple of days. We aren’t after anything that’s a hot item on that Friday so I can wait and see if the issue gets resolved. I hope it will.

I have an AP, I'm booked for 9 nights at a DSAR with the new 60 day FP benefit in July, I still can only book 7 days of FP's, I can't book 10 days worth, yet, we'll see if this upgrade helps.

When I read your OP my first ? was, are you absolutely sure your only holding 6 days worth? Sometimes when your working with multiple people over many days, you may have 1 lone FP on a different day causing the hiccup. I'd pull up the app in the "view all plans" then filter for FP's and look carefully at the dates. Only because a few times while trying to book I accidentally clicked on June & had to change it & because while in the online version it would only show me 1 FP when I had 3 booked, had to view in app to see all. Or, if your only using the app, pull up the online version & have a looksee.

It’s definitely only 6. I’ve checked many times. So frustrating.

Today at 7, I had the spinning ring of death followed by all the parks grayed out saying all the FP were gone. Then, when I was able to make them, I wasn't on the FP list even though it's my account. It wouldn't even let me schedule for the other 5 on my list, it came up as unable to complete. Finally around 7:05 it was all back to normal and I was able to schedule our FP+. Whatever the "upgrade" is, I hope they get it done soon.
