Fastpass+ for MK fireworks

So last year the wife and I had a fastpass for illuminations at Epcot and we loved it. Was the best experience we've had of watching it.

This year we wanted to try for wishes and this morning we've managed to get a fastpass for a night in September. We've also got a fastpass for the festival of fantasy parade.

I just wondered if anyone else has done these on fastpass. If so, could anyone tell me where the fastpass entrance is for each?

Not sure about Wishes but for the Festival of Fantasy parade, the entrance is on the right hand side of the central part of the hub just in front of the castle. You can't miss it

Do fastpasses for the fireworks and parades open at 60 days as well? I thought they came a couple of weeks after?

It's good to hear you can get them for The Festival of Fantasy parade because I wasn't sure you still could with all the work going on at MK. I don't know whether I read that you couldn't, or I just thought it.

Yep, it all opened at 60 days. I've just been on again now to get the rest booked for the second week. Most nights the wishes fastpasses are no longer available. Meet and greet for Anna and elsa I never even saw once!!

Where do you watch illuminations?

When I went last year we watched via a roped off area, in between the two shops at the start of world showcase. Directly opposite the American adventure. It was perfect, had amazing unobstructed views and we were so close to the fireworks. If you enjoy illuminations I would highly recommend it. We've booked it again this year for our last night. Can't think of a better way to end the holiday. Epcot is our favourite park though...

Excellent. I thought I'd have to stalk MDE after the 60 days to book them.

Luckily my daughter hasn't shown any interest in meeting Anna and Elsa, so I won't have to fight for a fastpass for that!
