Our first family trip is in 6 days! We are only there for two days and I want to make the most of it!! Right now I have two fastpasses for meeting Ariel and Rapunzel (our daughters' favorites). I'm concerned now that I should be using the fastpasses for rides since I know it will be busy.

Any suggestions?

Just depends, if you have the MDE app you can change it once you are there. We didn't do any character FP, mainly because my husband was very against 'wasting' them on that. However, characters were the thing we had to wait the longest for. I believe Ariel (as a mermaid) was close to an hour and Rapunzel was well over 45 minutes...Tink was close to 45 minutes too.
Just depends what else you would think about using the FP+ for. When we were there the only rides with waits longer than the characters were Big Thunder Mountain and PeterPan. (Splash Mountain was closed though).

As a local I suggest using them for the characters. The ride wait times fluctuate quite a bit and you can get lucky with waits under 30 minutes for all rides at at least one point in the day. With characters, not so much unless you are considering visiting them very late at night but even then it is just a maybe on a shorter wait time. Have fun!!!

I would suggest going at rope drop so you can get to the rides you want to be on the most first before the crowds build. Then use the fast passes for more of what you wish you could do that will have long lines.

It is your holiday, do what is best for you and your family.
