We are doing a land/sea combo next May and our DD will be 2 (almost 3) at the time of our trip. The package includes park hoppers for all of us for the time we are at the parks. Since she is under 3 - that means she doesn't need a ticket for the parks right? Or is there a ticket for 0 - 3?

I'm wondering because I want to know if we will be able to obtain fastpasses for her on rides too - or if her age means she doesn't get a ticket - is she then ineligible for fastpass?

I probably didn't explain that very well, but I'm hoping someone can decipher it and answer this for me. :rotfl:

Anyone under 3 is free... If you wnat to buy a ticket Disney will not mind :rotfl2:
She is considered a lap baby as you will need to hold on to her on any rides you take her on.....

She won't need a FastPass, but you also wouldn't be able to get her one since she doesn't have (or need) a park pass.

We just returned from a trip with our almost 3 year old. What an awesome time to go! Since he doesn't have a ticket, he can't get fast passes, but you can, and they just slide under the turnstile with you or pass the CM with you at the fast pass attractions. :thumbsup2

Have a great time! :cheer2:

You don't have to hold a young child in your lap. Often, I would think a small child would want to ride in a parent's lap for comfort, but they don't HAVE to do so. They pretty much do have to go with a parent though, as would be expected.

Also, there aren't that many Fastpass rides that children under four can go on anyhow...Maestrom, Pooh, Peter Pan, HM, LMA Stunt show, Jungle Cruise, Buzz, Living withthe Land, VotLM, and ITtbaB..and you might not want to take a two year old on all of those. Also, for some of them, you don't really need to do FP. So really, there are probably only about four or five attracrtions total in all four parks.

Disney dosen't require admission for those 2 and under so your child will be free and won't need an admission ticket. You definately don't need to buy one just to get her a FP!! She will definatly be able to use FP with you she just won't have her own slip. Naturally the CM's are well aware that under 3's won't have their own FP. We just returned from a trip with my 2 yo neice and as long as the rest of the party had a FP she was just waived through with us.

This has never been my experience, the CM's won't require you to put a 2yo in your lap. In fact most will inist that the child be seated in their own seat rather than on your lap.

Have a great trip.

Incorrect.

Correct.

No tickets for kids under 3. Since FastPass machines require a ticket, there's no possible way to obtain a FastPass for a child under 3. Thus, no FastPass is needed.
