Well today was 60 days - so I took the day off and set my alarm for 4.50am.

Easy peasy! No problem at all and got everything we wanted for our first stay at AKL - despite mixed messages because we have a split stay (with a cruise in the middle) we could not book fastpass+ for our second stay at Contemporary. Looks like I will have to wait until we are 60 days from check in again.

Glad you got what you wanted :thumbsup2

Thought you might have to wait for your second 60 day window to open as they are treated as separate reservations :goodvibes

We are spending 5 nights in contemporary but gave 14 tickets can we 60 days book FP for the first ten nights or only the first 6 days ie while we are on resort.

It will be the time you are staying onsite only at 60 days the rest at 30 days :)

From my experience - despite having 14 day tickets, I was only able to book for the days when I am staying at my first resort.

It realise it makes sense.. disney do not want people booking just one night so they can benefit from a 60 day booking window - therefore if you are not onsite it is 30 days.

Personally, I have a slight grievance, my entire vacation has been booked with WDTC - 7days AKL, 4 night Cruise, 3night Contemporary + tickets. I feel I should be able (with my 14 day tickets) to book my entire trips FP+ but the system is restricted still as my cruise is not recognised as a Disney stay and also due to the learning curve and the difference in UK & US tickets. It will probably take a while to iron it all out - personally I will be emailing Disney to highlight my feelings - not because I am cross and feel hard done by but because I want to feedback so they can help others.

I agree, you should have been able to book the lot. Especially with booking through WDTC. It would be better if they had a few cast members just to help those that have booked a cruise. That way they would not need to change the IT system.( Like a price over ride button on a register in a shop.)

The issue is the fact that neither the UK or US reservation systems recognise split stays - it's not something Disney sells therefore it is and always will be 2 separate reservations and the restrictions that come with it such as DDPs and FP+ booking windows.
