Fastpass during EMH?

Is Fastpass available during EMH in the morning? By that I mean can we turn up an hour earlier at Animal Kingdom and get a Fastpass for one of the rides for later in the day whilst riding another?

Are they available in the evening?

And on the topic of EMH in the evening: if the park closes at 10pm and has EMH as is open until 1am - does that mean the rides stop at that time and you still have another hour or so to look around shops until maybe 2am? or are all the stores closed by then?

Fastpasses MAY be available for either morning or evening EMH. It is not guaranteed for either, and is often up to the attraction manager. Not all attractions are even operating during EMH (although the most popular ones are almost always operating).

In the morning, I've generally seen that if the attraction is operating, the Fastpasses are available.

On the busiest days, Evenining EMH Fastpasses will likely be available but not guaranteed.

As for the stores closing, I'm not really sure if the stores close at the official closing time, but I think they do (if not before depending on crowd)...otherwise it would take forever to get people out of the park...

We were at MK the week or so before President's Day and it was so funny at Space Mt. We happened to get there just a little before official closing to use some FP we had been given and a huge line was forming for the FP machines knowing that at least those ( no idea about any others) were going to re-open. It just struck me as funny, of course, we had to join the line too!!

Thanks. We will be arriving on Sun 19th April - an EMH for the Magic Kingdom. We won't be arriving until late, so we estimate that we will arrive at the Magic Kingdom about 9pm - so it will be nice to know we actually have until 1am on the rides, maybe using Fastpass and then maybe another hour looking around. *Excited*
