My DH and I are debating the coloring system of the fastpasses? My HD thinks every day they change the color of the fastpasses, thus you cann't slip one by the associate the next day. I, on the other hand, think the color doesn't change day by day. Can someone help us on this?

Thanks!

You win this one.

They have even redesigned the printing on the FP's to feature a very large DATE stamp.
No need to change the colors day-by-day.

I knew they won't change the colors every night. The date being bigger would be much easier than trying to remember what color is today for the cm.

Yeah, I'm right again!

I think the color is different for each ride? That way the cm can easily see you have the right one.

Each attraction has different card stock with the attraction's logo on it. When a fast pass is printed, the printed info is the only thing that will change, not the paper.

I used one last week and the CM took a long, long look at the date and the time on the pass. I don't think they are just letting things slide anymore.

what are you guys talking about? Im new to this stuff. I thought everyone had a fast pass on their tickets...what are the colors?

All About Fastpass

Your ticket does not have Fastpasses on it, but you use it to get the Fastpass by putting it in the Fastpass kiosk. When you do that, a Fastpass ticket comes out, which bears the logo of the attraction in a particular color scheme per attraction. The colors help the CMs know what attraction the Fastpass is for. The printed info tells them if it is valid.

Since they moved to the current per-attraction card stock years ago, I believe the attractions have always had the same colors they do now.

Great, and now maybe they will start "enforcing" the TIME on them:rolleyes1:wave2::firefight

I know this is a hot button issue on these boards. I used to be a stickler for sticking to the time on the FPs, that is until a CAST MEMBER gave me some TSM FPs and told me to ride it and have a good time. And the CM at the ride let me and DH right on, no problem. So, I don't have a problem with people using expired FPs at all, as long as WDW doesn't have a problem with it. And honestly, who's going to know? I'm not going to be checking everyone's FP in line!
