FastPass/child swap on RnR and TOT

If this is old info...... sorry! I did a quick search but didn't find the same info.

As noted on other posts, some rides give you a baby swap pass for up to three riders. On RnR & TOT, we went to the FastPass line with all of our passes and the CMs let us keep the FastPass for the non-rider plus gave us the 3-person swap pass. With our group of 6, that meant that 4 of us were able to go back on the ride for the swap (3 for the swap plus the extra FastPass). You do go thru the FastPass queue again but all of our kids were thrilled to ride it twice.

Can you clear this up for me? Does everyone go to the CM together before riding once? Will be traveling with 3 adults and 3 kids 12,10,5 so one adult will need to stay behind with the 5 year old. I'm just confused with the timing of it all! Thx

We usually went up as a group to the fast pass line, the CM gave us the baby swap pass for 3. At that time we usually asked the CM where was the best place for the person or people with the baby to wait. It was a nice surprise perk that they allowed more than just the one person waiting with the baby to ride again.

Child swap is great!!!

It meant my ride crazy 10yr old got to do them twice in a row while DH and myself took turns to wait with DD8 and DS4 who didnt want to ride. We also got Fp for those that wern't riding to allow him extra rides

When we went on RnR, one time we were given two FP back, plus the child watcher pass, and another time we were only given 1 FP back plus the child watcher pass. I don't know if it depends on the CM, the time of day or how busy they are.

we were always given a pass that allowed up to 3 people to ride..we were there in march/april.

Those not riding could have waited in line for TOT and take the 'chicken exit' while the others did the ride. We opted for the switch pass.
