That's the edit page. I've already booked 4 days of FP+. The text on the page says "only the days on which you have made FP selections are listed"

Can you add more?

For whatever it's worth we currently have 7 day tickets for a 7 night stay and it let me book FPs for the 8 days that it knows we'll be there (7 nights + departure day). I cannot select any other/additional days to try and make more to see if it's just n+1 days since this covers my whole stay window.



We'll actually be around a couple extra days off-site on the front end so I'll end up trying to do the early-pickup from guest services then adding days to these tickets. However, that wasn't the original plan, hasn't happened yet, and unless they're reading minds they'd have no way to know this was even being contemplated.

On a possibly related note (or just a random other system quirk), before the FP+ window opened a few days ago the system seemed to think my wife had a valid ticket already (but not the kids or I) and I could setup FPs under her name any time within the next 30 days. After the FP+ window opened she (and the rest of us) show tickets that work during our stay, but none of us (including my wife) could make could make a reservation at any other times (including in the next 30 days).

Nope, not a quirk, that's how the system is set up. Check the first post in the green link in mesaboy's signature. It's mentioned in bullet points #3 and 4 under Booking Windows and Scheduling.

One of the best vacations I ever had at WDW was when Ivan was supposed to hit. We went anyway and no one else hardly. It turned and went through the panhandle and we had a blissful walk on vacation from Saturday to Wednesday. If you're going to get bad weather I wouldn't worry about fps anyway.

I was in Orlando around or during both Floyd and Francis. Those day right afterward can have fairly low crowds. To the OP, if you want to play it safe, I'd cancel the FP's from my later AK day to make FP's for the first day. DAK is the easiest park to day FP's late. You could then possibly add a day to your tickets that first day if needed.
