I've posted this over on the DL board, but thought I might post it here as well...

Having just returned from WDW, I saw that when I got a FP for Jungle Cruise, the ticket indicated I was able to get another FP prior to the return time... is this new?

My boss is going to DL for Thanksgiving... and he said he heard/read somewhere that, at DL, you can get a FP for one ride, and turn around and get one for another ride immediately... but wasn't sure if this was an option for everyone, or just those on a particular plan... does this make any sense?

Hi candleonwater,

FASTPASS at DL has a number of unique options. The first is the "Unlimited FASTPASS" option your boss probably heard of. I believe it's available to guests who book their multi-day vacation through Disney Travel. I think Unlimited FASTPASS allows you to get FASTPASSes for attractions without having to wait some minimum amount of time first.

A number of DL FASTPASS booths are also not connected to the entire FASTPASS network, meaning they don't "know" when you've got a FP for another attraction. Therefore, you can get some multiple FP combinations without having to wait a minimum amount of time between each. This is available to the general public.

In WDW, the Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion generally have a "next FASTPASS" time of 5 minutes from whenever you get the FASTPASS. That is, if you obtain a FP for either JC or HM at, say, 10 a.m., you can generally get your next FASTPASS for any other attraction at 10:05 a.m. This feature, IIRC, is unique to these two attractions. It's probably well-known to folks on this board, but probably not to the general public.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Len

The DL "Unlimited Fastpass" is going away. I don't remember when though. I thought it was either around the Thanksgiving time or toward the end of the year. Maybe post on the DL board to see if anyone remembers.
