Just saw on another post that in dl you can no longer have both fp and das return times, anyone know if this is true and/or coming to wdw? The poster said he ran into this just yesterday.

doubtful its true (he may have misunderstood). They are two separate programs.

Disneyland's website DAS pages still specifically states "This service can be used in addition to Disney’s FASTPASS® Service." and "You can use DAS in conjunction with Disney’s FASTPASS Service." (noted in 2 different places). Using DAS in conjunction with FP is how Disney suggests to get multiple rides of the same attraction, so I doubt they would remove that option.

I believe you cannot get both a DAS and a wheelchair return time for the same ride, at least not until one has been used then get another.

I saw that post as well, hoping that poster can confirm the situation she/he found, or another poster confirms/denies it.

Enjoy your vacation!

Was at Epcot yesterday, with both FP+ (chosen in advance, changed times/attractions at 7am same day on my phone) and a DAS return time.

As of yesterday, the DAS was still on paper - so, its impossible for FP+ (a digital 'thing') to impact the paper that a CM at an attraction handwrites a return time on (or vice versa).

Of course digital DAS starts soon (today?), so my info from yesterday could be out of date!

That post was very difficult to understand - it very much sounded like the person who wrote it misunderstood how DAS and Fastpass work - and was mixing in some misunderstandings about wheelchair return times for attractions at DL where the line is not accessible.

I posted this on another thread but someone mentioned I should post it here as well. Please note that this is about DisneyLAND not WDW.

I just missed a call from the Disney Disability Services, she did leave a message and this is what she said.

The only recent change to the DAS is that it is now added to your tickets electronically rather than being a physical card.

The kiosks are still there and you definitely go the the kiosks to get the return times put on to the DAS. You can still also go to either City Hall or the Chamber of Commerce to get a return time.

You are still able to use Fastpass in addition to the DAS return time, it is in fact recommended that you do.

You can have both a Fastpass and DAS return time at the same time.

You CANNOT have a DAS return time and a Wheelchair return time at the same time.

You do not get DAS return times at the attraction.

You do get Wheelchair return times at the attraction.

Hope that clears it up for everyone, it seems as though nothing has changed since we were last there in February.
