I'm assuming that since a 2 year old doesn't need a park ticket and therefore won't be able to get FASTPASS tickets that they won't need one to enter a FASTPASS line with the rest of the family.

Is this correct?

Also, I'm still unsure how the baby swap works in the FASTPASS line.
I was reading that the CM will give you a baby swap pass. Does this mean that part of your party goes in the FASTPASS line and then the second part of your party goes once the first party gets off and can take over with the child. I don't get it, you're still going to have to entertain a 2 year old twice as long this way. Any insights?

Most people combine fastpass with the babyswap. So your 2yo would only have to be entertained while the others went through the FP line twice. Which isn't too bad.

When you get to the ride ask the CM at the entrance how they handle baby swap. MOST rides hand out a special Fastpass for baby swap. This Fastpass is good for up to 3 people all day.

So no matter what, you do have to take turns watching the baby of course, but the parent that waited with the baby gets to go in the Fastpass line with their baby swap Fastpass, after the first parent comes back.

So whether you all do Fastpass or standby, the second parent can do Fastpass with the special baby swap Fastpass.

If you use FP on a ride where you will not be switching off (Peter Pan, Jungle Crusie) he'll be fine too. You will not need a FP for him.
