Fastest will call ticket pick-up?

Hi everyone - I'll be at MK with my kids and sister on Friday. This is a last minute plan because my sister lives in Orlando and my daughters and I are making a last-minute visit. We wanted to go ahead and get FPs, so we bought tickets on-line yesterday (sis has annual pass). Of course we couldn't get a FP for the mine train and my daughters REALLY want to ride it.

Since we couldn't get FPs for it, our plan is to get to the park as early as we possibly can to hopefully avoid an hour wait for mine train. The problem is we have to pick up our tickets at will call. Does anyone know what time the guest services windows open at MK? Or, does anyone know anywhere in the Orlando area other than the parks themselves where will call tickets can be printed? We just don't want to get to the park at 7:30 only to find that we can't get our tickets and move into the main gate area until 8:30!

Could you pick them up the night before? That would be the easiest solution.

i would still be mentally prepared to be in the 7dmt line until almost lunchtime, no matter what you do.

Thanks fla4fun - My sister is in Oviedo - about 50 minutes from the parks - so she won't want to drive over there Thursday night, but maybe we'll have to do that.

Slickpoetry - Really?! Until lunchtime?? Ugh. Is it no help at all to be there at RD then? I know the FP+ means that lots of people scheduled FPs for mine train at 9, but I still thought if we were among the first several hundred people in the park we'd have a shot at a wait time below an hour. Maybe I'll tell my daughters they have to forget mine train for this trip.

I was definitely was exaggerating a little bit. Sorry. My point was just to prepare for the worst.

If you read this article from Josh on easywdw, he was at the front of the crowd at rope drop on 5/28, walked straight to 7DMT and had a 58 minute wait:

That was a Wednesday, but it was also the "first day" for 7DMT, so you can presume it was not a NORMAL wednesday. Fridays are normally busier than wednesdays, but again 5/28 was not the prototypical weekday.

I would plan on a 40-60 minute wait. If it ends up being shorter than that, then you will just leave a little happier

You don't have to go to Guest Services. You can pick up the tickets at any ticket booth, including the ones at the TTC.

I bought my son a pass on will call, and loaded the confirmation info on My disney experience. I never even bothered to pick up an actual ticket, the pass shows up under his name and worked perfectly.

Do you have any Magic bands to attach those passes to, so you could just use the magic bands?

Slickpoetry - Sorry I didn't pick up on the exaggeration! Glad you don't think it will be quite that bad. I can deal with an hour wait - just don't want to be stuck there for much longer than that.

PatMcDuck - My sister has a magic band because she has an AP. She bought the tickets for us and we're all linked under her My Disney experience. Do you mean that we could get in using her band or would we have to have our own bands? Thanks -
