Hello friends! I need some WDW experts' help. If we arrive at MCO at 4:40pm, what is the best and quickest way to get to Hollywood Studios? We only have one evening to spend there. We are staying on property at the Beach Club. I know it isn't ideal, but I can't change the flight times....it is what it is. We would at least like to get a peak at Toy Story Land and call it good. With that being said, what would be the best way to get from the airport to the park and what would be a realistic arrival time?
Thanks for your help and advice! It is greatly appreciated!

An Uber straight to the park, but what are you going to do with your luggage!

Could I let the Magical Express people pick it up and deliver it to my resort....even though I won't be on the Magical Express Bus?

No, you need ride the bus in order for your luggage to ride the magical express bus. I’d take the magical express and then drop your carry on in your room and take the boat or walk to Hollywood. What times does your flight land?

Book DME as if you would take the bus. Put the DME tags on your luggage at your home airport for delivery to your resort. Take an uber, along with all your carry-ons from the airport to HS. Enjoy HS, stopping at Dueling Pianos on your walk back to BC. Your luggage will be in your room. (OK... the stop at Dueling Pianos is totally optional but highly recommended).

You should be at HS by 6 at the very latest.

And they're going to do what with their carry-ons once they reach the park?

Thank your for pointing out what I missed.....

To the OP ... only bring as a carry-on what you can comfortably bring to a park, or put in a locker at HS. Wheeled luggage is a no-no.

Tag your bags with the DME tags...they should be fine going to BC. If you have sizable carry on bags, take Uber to the BC, drop your bags off there, then head to DHS via the boat or walking. Walking will take about 20 mins, the boat could be 20+ mins if it's there when you walk up, or add 20 or so mins if you have to wait.
Or, take very small carry on bags and Uber directly to DHS. If you land, on-time, at 4:40, you won't be off the plane until 4:50ish. Figure on 45 mins from gate to resort if you Uber. The same for gate to park. DME will take up to 90 mins.

Has DME removed the requirement that one person needs to ride the bus in order to use the luggage delivery?

Not that they enforce it, just for information.

Thank you everyone for the help!!!!! I am going to go with your suggestions on the luggage tags for DME and Uber for us. We are going to the Dessert Party that night at HS, which starts at 7:00....so with your advice I feel confident we should make it and get to peak at Toy Story Land!! Now hoping for zero flight issues
