Fastest way to Hollywood Studios from Boardwalk area these days??

What is the fastest way from the Boardwalk to Hollywood Studios? We are in a two bedroom boardwalk view room. We have walked before but with the newer route and Skyliner I was not sure which might be better. Boats, Skyliner at EPCOT, or walk?

The skyliner is definitely the longest. You’d have to go from EP to CBR and transfer by getting in line again for HS. Boats aren’t that bad, but walking is by far quickest and most reliable.

Since you mentioned 2 bedrooms I'm assuming you're in the DVC villas. 3 out of 4 of our standard view stays were at the end of the building farthest from the lobby, and if you exit at that end you're already about a third of the way to the Studios from the lobby. If you're closer to the lobby or in the Inn (not DVC) section, cut through the pool area; it saves a few steps compared to walking down the boardwalk to Atlantic Dance.

Walk. Definitely. We did it 3 days last week, we beat the earliest skyline, boat, bus guests every time.
But the skyline was nice for a leisurely ride back to the resort after our busy mornings!

Ditto, WALK!!! Love that walk!! I couldn't get the 2 bedroom Villa, it was booked for our dates, lucky you!! Love that resort!!

Ditto on this. The BWVs basically run right along the path towards HS. They extend most of the way before you get to the highway and the HS parking lot. Depending on where you are you could be as close to HS are you are to EPCOT.

That walk from the Boardwalk to HS is one of my favorite ways to get to a park, So beautiful and peaceful before the hustle and bustle of the park!

Not to mention that it calms my Control Freak mind vs waiting for a boat to arrive/depart and why isn't it going faster?!?!?

My wife was just at the Boardwalk. Her group opted to take the Skyliner. Even thought it takes you way away and you have to change lines at Caribbean Beach, it only took about 20 mins.

The walk is definitely the quickest, but the boat ride (if they still offer that) is nice and relaxing. I haven't done the Skyliner.

Walk, as others have said. But if you do want to take the boat to save your feet coming back, get off at the Swan and cross the bridge. It's way faster than waiting for the Boardwalk stop.
